3 years later…

Amber ran around the house looking for you.

“Mommy!” She yelled as she looked through every single room. She reached the kitchen where Sunny was making lunch.

“Mama, where’s mommy?” She asked, holding onto Sunny’s dress.

“She’s in the shower.” Sunny said, smiling and patting her head. “Why are you looking for mommy?”

“I was in the backyard and I found a snail and I want mommy to get it for me because I can’t reach it because it’s on the wall really high” She said jumping and pointing up with her finger.

“She’ll be done soon” Sunny said kissing her head. Amber smiled. She heard the door to the bathroom open and ran there excitedly.

“Mommy!” She yelled, jumping up and down. You picked her up.

“What is it, baby?” You asked her kissing her cheek.

“I found a snail” She said all excited.

“You did?” You asked in a surprised tone and she nodded eagerly. “Where is it?” You placed her on the floor. She held onto your hand and dragged you to the backyard.

“Look Mommy! It’s there!” She said pointing at the snail that was going up the wall. “Can I keep it?” She looked at you with puppy eyes.

“Go get your jar.” You said and she grinned.

“Yay!” She went to her bedroom and came back with a jar full of leaves and other snails.

After getting the snail, you both washed your hands. You carried Amber to the kitchen and sat her on her high chair.

“Mama I have a new snail! It’s thiiiiiiis big!” Amber said stretching her arms. Sunny pinched her cheek.

“That’s a really big snail!” Sunny said, sitting beside her as you finished setting the table. Amber nodded happily. You sat down next to Sunny and kissed her cheek. While you were finishing your lunch, Amber had already finished hers.

“Mama get me down please,” She said, raising her arms to Sunny.

“Are you done?” Sunny asked and Amber nodded. “Okay, you can go play but stay inside.” She helped her get down of her high chair.

“Thank you Mama” Amber said grinning and Sunny kissed her head.

When she turned to continue eating she noticed you were looking at her, smiling like a fool.

“Why are you smiling?” She said as she moved closer to you. You placed your arm around her shoulders and kissed her temple.

“We have the most wonderful family in the whole world.” You said as she rested
