Two years later…

Things have been going great for you and Sunny. Her parents decided to move closer to you both and you all get together once a week for lunch or dinner. They support you both and they love you like their own daughter.

It was almost noon. Sunny was at the doctor’s office while you were at work.

“Did you tell ___ that you’re trying a third time?” The doctor asked and she shook her head.

“I want it to be a surprise if it finally works” She smiled while wondering how you would react to the news.

The doctor looked at the test results on his computer and then checked a few other results.

“Well, I have good news for you” He said turning to look at Sunny and she got teary.

“Really?”

“Congratulations Sunny, you’re pregnant” Tears started to run down her cheeks and she smiled brightly. You both have been trying to have a baby for almost a year; but the procedure didn’t work as expected until now.

After the doctor’s appointment Sunny decided to go to a clothing store for kids. She then went to your office to have lunch with you. You were working on your pc and didn’t notice her walking in. She went behind you and hugged your shoulders. You smiled and rubbed her arm.

“Hi baby” She whispered in your ear and kissed your cheek.

“Hi” You turned your head and pecked her lips.

“Busy?” She asked holding your hand. You shook your head and made her sit on your lap sideways, you then hugged her waist and she placed her arms around your neck. You gave her small kisses on her neck and she smiled.

“Baby…” She said moving away a little to see your face. You smiled and she pecked your lips. “I have a present for you” She got up and got a nicely wrapped gift from her purse; she then gave it to you and sat again on your lap.

“What is it?” You said turning it around.

“Just open it” You opened the gift. It was a tiny t-shirt that said ‘I love my mommies’. You got teary and looked at Sunny who was smiling.

“You’re pregnant?” She nodded and you hugged her. You both were crying now. “Are you really?” You said and she nodded again. She cupped your face and rested her forehead on yours.

“We’re having a baby” You smiled and kissed her lips. You parted the kiss and hugged her again.

“I’m so happy” You mumbled on her neck and she smiled hugging you tighter.
