“What time does your shift start?” Jessica asked placing a cup in front of you.

“Thanks” You took a sip “Five but I have to be there at four, there’s this new espresso machine and I have to master it as soon as possible.”

You all spent the morning at Jessica’s and decided to have lunch there as well. Taeyeon offered to cook and you went to help her.

“What are you doing here?” She asked you once you stepped in the kitchen.

“I’m here to help because I’m awesome like that” You winked at her and she laughed.

“You can’t cook”

“No… but I can always try”

“And risk setting Sica’s kitchen on fire like last time? No, thank you”

You frowned and went to sit on the couch next to Jessica.

“She kicked me out” You pouted. Jessica side hugged you. “It’s ok; I don’t want my kitchen on fire…again”

“That was once, ages ago!”

“It was two weeks ago, just admit it, you can’t cook even if your life depended on it”

You pouted again and looked at Sunny.

“Your best friend hates me”

She chuckled.

“I don’t hate you, I’m just telling the truth”

“How did you set the kitchen on fire?” Sunny asked and you sighed.

“I wanted warm milk for my cereal but the microwave wasn’t working so I tried to warm it in the stove. I placed the pot, turn on the stove, poured the milk and… I fell asleep” You scratched the back of your neck.

They laughed again and you joined them.

“Sica, can you set the table?” Taeyeon yelled from the kitchen.

“I’ll be right back” Jessica said and left.

You where watching TV with Sunny, she was debating with herself whether to start a conversation or just wait for Jessica to come back when you spoke.

“So, Sunny, what do you want to study?” You asked her with a smile, she smiled back at you and you felt weird in a good way for a second.

“I’m planning on taking graphic design, I love taking pictures and Photoshop”

“That’s really cool.”

“What do you want to study?”

“Videogames”

“Videogames?”

“Yes, I want to know everything about them and learn how to develop them so that one day people can disconnect from life enjoying something I’ve helped create” You said with a look of determination in your eyes. “Do you like gaming, Sunny?”
