If Only You Were Mine7 years later...
Donghae's POV....
I looked around the empty house. The furnitures were covered in white fabric. I ran my hand at the table in front of me and saw the dust that I had gathered. It has been seven years since I had entered this house. I walked up the stairs and went to check on the first room that my feet has brought me in. I slowly opened the door and was disappointed that nobody was inside.
"Yah, Lee Donghae, kumanhae. She is not there so why are you still expecting to see her?" I chided myself. I smiled nitterly. Yes, she was gone. I can still remember that night. the reason why left the following morning.
I was a monster. I had let my emotions control me that night and in doing so I ended up hurting her. Istepped inside her room and took a deep breath. I can still smell the faint scent of her favorite perfume. The scent that kept haunting me after what happened that night.
I shook my head and went back downstairs. I sadly smiled. It was my fault that she left. I can still remember the morning that I found her note. She told me that that she was sorry for making her life miserable. She said not to worry because I won't be seeing her anymore. She told me that she would be sending the divorce papers.
I could not blame her. She had spent her life loving me and yet I chose to ignore that love and hurt her instead. She had indeed sent the divorce papers with her signature. There was also a note with those papers. "You are now free." Those four words that I was longing to hear from her before felt like like a heavy lead in the pit of my stomach.
