"-yah!" Kari whined hitting Mark's arm
"wae?" he asked "what did I do wrong?"
"I was expecting you to ask me to prom a better way" she crossed her arms
"what better way?" he asked
"anything other than 'you're going with me to prom, right Ai?'" she said imitating him
"1, I don't sound like that" Mark scoffed "2, does that mean you're not going with me?"
"of course I'm going with you, it's just...really? Just because I'm your girlfriend doesn't mean that I don't expect an invition" Kari said
"arasso arasso mianhe" he said pulling her onto his lap. The boy enveloped her in his arms and innocently pecked her cheek "I'm sorry Ai. Will you go to prom with me?"
"hmmm...keulsae. Someone else asked me and-"
"bwoh? nugu?!" he shouted
"ah! that was in my ear!" Kari said slapping him again
"who asked you? nugu?" Mark said again "why would he ask you?"
"why not? no one knows we're dating" she said playing with his hands
"yah I'm not playing with you anymore." Mark pouted "I'm gonna ask Dani then-"
"don't you even dare" Kari pinched his ear.
"ah ah! apo!" Mark said grabbing her hand. He turned her around in his lap and captured her lips in his.
"omo omo" Jinae said as the boys and girls varsity teams walked in the gym.
"what the did we miss?" Taejun said as the group stared at the two in the bleachers.
"MarKari on 3?" Byul asked
"why on 3? just start now" Miyeon said
"MarKari! MarKari! MarKari!"
"" Kari cursed literally flying off her boyfriend's lap. "hey guys what's up?"
"ttak geollyeosseo!" Aeji pointed at them
"aye" another boy said sitting next to Mark "how long have you been a thing?"
"not that long, a week" he answered
"aigoo I knew it!" Sumin squealed linking her arm with Kari's
"we all knew it" Kyungji nodded her head
"yah, you guys can't tell anyone" Kari said "you do and I hit you"
"why not?" one of the boys asked
"because of the thing between Suzy and Jr" Mark said slipping his arm around Kari's waist
"aigoo aigoo, look at you" Mei said "hands off"
"shireo" Mark shook his head
"bwoh?" Mei crossed her arms
"hehe, noona" Mark smiled at her
"smooth Tuan" Kari said snickered
"do you guys have any couple nicknames?" Hana asked
"aniyo-actually..." Kari said and looked at Mark
"we do?" he asked surprised. The girl suddenly chuckled and took hold of his hand
"what do you call me, Tuan?" she asked
"Ai" he answered "it's just a regular nickname, right?"
"Ai in Japanese...do you know what it means?" Kari asked
"stop prolonging this, what does it mean?" Yubin said
"in Japanese, Ai means love, sarang" Kari said and the girls squealed
"so..everytime I called you Ai, I've been calling you love?" Mark asked and she nodded "yah, how come you've never told me?"
"I thought you would have been smart enough to know what love means in Japanese. You know, considering all the time you spent at my house" Kari said poking his cheek
"did you just call me stupid?" he asked
"indirectly, yes" she said and he frowned. The girl laughed and quickly pecked his lips "mian"
"aigoo, I'm gonna get sick of this quick" one of the boys said
"oppa, if you're gonna hate, the door is to the left" Kari said
"c'mon c'mon, let's go practice" Jinae said "aye captain, help get the net will you?"
"deh noona" Mark said standing up

"-unnie, just go. For me? please?" Kari pleaded
"I told you I didn't wanna go Kari-ah" Suzy said
"but it's probably going to be our only prom for the three of us to go together" Kari said "Jiyeon unnie?"
"we're not even prepared" JJ said
"I got dresses and shoes for you unnies, jebal. Let's go oh?" Kari whined
"why do you wanna go all of a sudden?" Suzy asked
"did someone ask you?" JJ said
"it's not that" Kari fibbed "we're all just gonna separate after junior year. We can't even finish together as seniors"
"what do you mean all?" Suzy asked "only I'm leaving"
"3-1=0" Kari said
"your math is really bad" JJ said "and that's coming from me"
"unnie" Kari whined
"arasso" Suzy sighed. The younger girl beamed and dragged the two up to her room, where two boxes laid on her bed
"pink one is Soyoon unnie's, purple is Jiyeon unnie's" Kari said and pushed Noya out "sorry my puppy, you'll have to wait"

After a 2 hour preparation, the 3 girls were finished and ready for the prom. Suzy definitely had a princess feel to hers with a pink strapless dress, the girl's hair was braided to the side, and she wore pink high heels. JJ on the other hand wore a purple strapless dress, a little more on the risque side. Her hair was down and curled, while she wore purple high heels and a purple corsage. Lastly, Kari wore a blue strapless dress with silver on the top, her hair was down and put to the side with a flower crown on top her head. She finished her outfit off with silver heels and a blue corsage.
"how come I don't have a corsage and you two do?" Suzy asked
", I knew I forgot something" Kari muttered "mian unnie"
"we actually look really hot" JJ said fussing around with her hair "good job on the outfits maknae"
"we're gonna be late. Let's go" Kari smiled exiting the room. The three piled into the Japanese girl's car and drove to the hotel venue. As expected, when they entered the hall, they attracted a lot of attention. A whole number of people stopped and stared as JSK stood by the door. The students made way as JSK walked through the place, doing the identical for GOT7 who entered at the opposite door. Kari met eyes with Mark and silently awed at how good he looked in a suit. He then looked towards Jr who was hesitantly making his way towards Suzy. He held a pink corsage in his hand
"I'm sorry" Jr said as he took Suzy's hand and slipped the corsage on her wrist "I was being stupid and dishonest and I'm sorry"
"Jinyoung" Suzy said quietly staring at him. He cupped her face and pulled her in for a deep kiss. Their two respected groups easing up at the sight.
"I love you Kim Soyoon" Jr whispered against her lips "please forgive me"
Suzy was at the brink of tears as she hugged him tightly "I missed you Jirongie"
"good job Tuan" Kari said as she walked over to him
"not bad yourself Ai" the boy smirked
"did you plan this noona?" Yugyeom asked and she nodded
"they should at least spend this prom together openly before they separate for two years" Kari said "it hurt me seeing my unnie that upset"
"it hurt us too" Bambam said "hyung wouldn't talk that much until Mark hyung told him about this"
"you sneaky little devil" JJ said coming up behind Kari "you could have told me what you were planning"
"I felt like you'd tell Soyoon unnie" Kari said sheepishly and JJ scoffed before giving a gentle smile
"you did good maknae" JJ said patting her shoulder
"hey JJ" Jackson said catching her attention "do you wanna dance?"
"why not" the girl said taking the Hong Kong-y boy's hand. The rest of GOT7 dispersed to find their prom dates leaving Kari and Mark alone
"you cleaned up really well" Kari said crossing her arms "neomu chalsaenggyeota"
"and you look gorgeous" Mark said taking her hand "let's join them on the dance floor?"
"call" she smiled letting him lead her away.
