Narrator's POV

Kari was more than excited when the plane landed in Japan. She got her carry on and exited the plane, nearly screaming when she saw her family waiting for her by the gate.

"ane-san!" a 4 year old girl bubbled, her short legs running towards the college girl

"bebii" Kari squealed picking her up "did you miss me?"

"hai" Arichi nodded giving a peck to her sister's cheek. Kari chuckled and walked towards her family, putting Arichi down to hug every one of her siblings and her parents

"what about you Daichi? Did you miss Akari ane?" Kari said sweetly crouching down to his level

"hai ane-san" Daichi smiled, holding his arms out. She giggled and picked him up.

"how was your flight musume?" papa asked

"it was good, rather short" she said "but I'm not complaining"

"oh you have grown so much" mama said dramatically

"right? where's my shojo*?" papa said

"papa, Aki's your shojo" Kari said

"chigau* ane-san" Aki said shaking her head

"Aki is my ouju*" papa said

"what about Arichi?" Kari asked

"Arichi is my bebii" papa said "so you are my shojo"

"oh my God" Kari chuckled rolling her eyes "let's go? I'm hungry"

"I cooked something at home" mama said

"we need to hurry then" Kari said "mama, I missed your cooking!"

After a 45 minute drive, the Fuyutas arrived at their home.

"my stomach is growling" Kari whined

"wait only a little longer ane-san" Daiki said "look"

"home sweet home" Aki smiled

"man, I missed this place" Kari said as the driver put the car in park.

"Daiki, help papa with Akari's luggage" mama ordered picking up Daichi. Aki picked up Arichi and Kari followed them inside the house.

"the sweet smell of sakuras" Kari smiled inhaling the house scent

"wait at the table musume, we'll join you in a few" mama said

"hai mama" Kari nodded eagerly skipping over to the dining room. She sat down and screamed when she heard a bark "Noya! arema!"

"Akari-sama*" the maid said "it's a pleasure to see you again"

"you too" Kari smiled picking up Noya "has Noya been a good boy?"

"he's a lot of work" she chuckled "but Noya's definitely behaving now that you're back"

"aigoo my little sekki" Kari said

"nani*?" Daiki asked

"sorry, force of habit" Kari said sheepishly holding Noya up "did you miss me my koinu*?"

"ane-san, he's eating your face!" Daichi exclaimed as mama placed him and Arichi in their baby chairs

"he's not eating my face otouto" Kari chuckled when Noya gave her cheeks wet . She set him down on her chair and went to go wash her hands. As soon as her whole family gathered at the table, Kari dug in and ate her food

"slow down ane, you're going to choke" Aki chuckled

"mama, please send me your recipes for when I go back to Korea" Kari pleaded

"alright, but it won't have your mama's special taste" she smiled "I am a chef after all"

After a leisurely chat during lunch, Kari went up to her room and unpacked her suitcases with her siblings

"thanks for helping me guys" Kari said "even though these two little babies probably can't help"

"I can help!" Daichi stood up

"me too!" Arichi claimed "we're 4 now ane-san!"

"okay" Kari chuckled "bring Noya into my room, you two. Please?"

"hai Akari ane" Daichi said as he and Arichi ran out of the room

"I wonder how they know me so well" Kari said

"we always told them about you ane" Daiki said opening one of her suitcases

"and showed them your pictures and games" Aki said

"I really hated leaving them when they were 1" Kari said "but college"

"so..now that it's just us three" Aki said hopping onto her sister's bed "tell us ane-chan"

"tell you what?" Kari said amused opening the closet to put in some of her clothes

"everything" Daiki said "friends, boys, school"

"since when were you such a girl, Daiki-chan?" Kari laughed

"is it bad that I'm concerned of what's happening in my sister's life?" Daiki asked

"not at all, I'm just joking" Kari said sitting down next to Aki. Daiki sat down across from them, leaning against one of the boards. "so, what do you want to know first?"

"let's start with friends" Aki said "are you popular ane?"

"I don't really like to call myself popular, that's just such a...snarky label. But in Korea, there's this title called "Queenka" or "Kingka"" Kari said "apparently, I'm considered one of them"

"what is that?" Daiki asked

"it's basically the most popular kids in school. Like an exclusive group." Kari said "me and my two best friends are the queenkas, this group of boys called GOT7 are the kingkas"

"are they cute?" Aki asked

"they're years older than you Aki-chan" Kari said

"so are they cute or not?" Aki said

"truthfully? I find one of them cute" Kari blushed

"so continuing with your friends" Daiki said

"I have two best friends. One of them is called Suzy, but her real name is Soyoon. She's the prettiest girl in the whole school, a model" Kari said "the other girl is called JJ, but her real name is Jiyeon. Most of the school is scared of her, she's the rebel and she knows how to fight."

"you're an interesting group" Daiki chuckled

"and GOT7?" Aki asked "are you friends with them?"

"I used to hate them" Kari said "I thought they were cocky bastards...but Suzy's boyfriend is one of the boys and we hung out a lot more. They're not bad."

"and that cute guy? Is he single?" Aki asked

"as far as I know, yeah" Kari said "can I tell you two a secret?"

"of course, ane" Daiki said

"well-"

"here's Noya!" Arichi shouted as Daichi came in, struggling to hold up the dog

"arema" Kari chuckled taking Noya from there, holding the dog in her arms "come join us on the bed"

"what are we doing?" Daichi asked

"talking" Aki said holding Daichi in her lap, Daiki doing the same with Arichi.

"so, continue ane" Daiki said

"I bought one of the boys a ticket to LA in the US to see his family" Kari said

"nani? Does mama and papa know?" Aki asked

"iie" Kari said

"why?" Daiki asked "who is he? what's his name?"

"his name is Mark. Mark Tuan. He's the boy that...I thought is cute. He came to Korea for college like me, but his family isn't as well off as ours. He hasn't even contacted his family ever since he came to Korea because of money issues." Kari said

"tell us more about him" Aki said intrigued "do you have a picture of him?"

"iie, but I know his instagram" Kari said showing them a picture

"why is his hair red?" Arichi asked

"oh that was before" Kari chuckled "here's a recent picture"

"he's cute!" Aki said taking her phone

"Mark's the captain of the boys volleyball team. Point guard on the basketball team. A swimmer. He's also the rapper and martial arts guy in his group, GOT7." Kari said

"he's perfect ane" Aki said "I approve!"

"woah, I never said I liked him" Kari chuckled "I just said he's cute"

"but tell us, is there a chance that you've liked him? even a tiny bit?" Daiki asked

"probably when he was taking care of my ankle sprain" Kari said

"I so approve" Aki screamed

"you're crazy Aki-chan" Kari chuckled rubbing Noya's tummy

"does he like you?" Daiki asked

"how would I know?" Kari said "we're not that close. He's just a friend"

"ane, how come I don't have your instagram?" Aki asked taking out her phone

"I don't know" Kari said going on the app. The three of them exchanged social media for a bit until she held her phone out "everyone get in the picture~"

"aw look at this" Suzy said showing a picture on her phone "maknae posted a picture on instagram"

"reunited with my little babies <3" JJ read

"wah, Kari and her siblings look alike" Jr said

"she looks like she's having a lot of fun" JB said

"aigoo, I miss her already" Suzy breathed out liking the pic

"her bed looks legit" Jackson said

"aww puppy" Mark smiled "it's so cute"

"what about Kari? is she cute?" Suzy raised her eyebrow

"w-what?" Mark blushed "s-sure? I m-mean, Kari's pretty"

"so she's cute" Suzy said again

"why are you interrogating me Kim Soyoon??" Mark asked grabbing a pillow and hugging it to his chest
