The sleepover went more normal than she expected. They all acted like the party a few days ago never happened. Kari planned to ignore Mark that whole night and it helped that she was busy most of the time. The girl was glad that they all liked their presents, but now that today was the first day back from break, she couldn't help but groan and whine in dissatisfaction.
"-they're having a talent competition next month" JJ said as she and Suzy stopped by Kari's locker "we should join"
"together?" Kari asked
"hmm...maybe" JJ shrugged "we should do separate and see how it goes."
"from what I heard, there's different categories. Like dance, rap, sing, and other" Suzy said
"other" Kari chuckled getting her books for vocabulary
"we should join though" JJ said "I've been having the urge to sing lately"
"and I also wrote a new rap" Suzy said
"then you unnies can join" Kari said "I'm don't know if I want to"
"aw c'mon maknae, you should join with us. Dance or parkour" JJ said
"I heard GOT7's joining it too" Suzy said "but they're doing it as a group"
"yah, I don't like this at all" JJ crossed her arms "we're too friendly with GOT7, my gang girl image faltered a bit. Shireo"
"a bit too friendly" Jimin coughed as she and Yerin walked up to them
"yah Park Jimin" Kari said
"I will beat you with a stick dongsaeng" JJ glared
"annyeonghaseyo unnie-deul" Yerin said "are you joining the competition?"
"is everyone talking about it?" Kari asked
"most of the school is joining, unnie" Jimin nodded "Yerin and I are gonna take a go too"
"maybe we'll go against each other" JJ said patting her shoulder
"but besides the competition, everyone's talking about prom too!" Yerin said
"prom? You guys are freshmen, you don't go to prom yet" Suzy said
"arayo unnie, but Yugyeom asked me" Yerin said
"oh yeah, GOT7 wanted to go together" Jimin said
"bwoyah, the eldest are juniors. There's still senior year next year" Kari scoffed
"ani, GOT7 oppa-deul, they're going to start training next year" Yerin said
"bwoh?" Suzy said
"Jinyoung oppa didn't tell you?" Jimin asked
"ani, buseun training?" she said crossing her arms
"to be an idol" Jimin answered "they passed the auditions already"
"oh?!" Suzy said. The girl blew a raspberry "Park Jinyoung eodiya?"
"they're in the dance studio" Yerin said
"wah. Even pissed, our model is the prettiest" JJ teased making Kari chuckle
"shut up" Suzy gritted her teeth stomping away
"yah...I don't think we were supposed to tell Soyoon unnie" Yerin muttered
"whoops" Jimin shrugged
"this is why I don't have a relationship, too complicated" Kari said closing her locker "aigoo aigoo"
"eodika?" JJ asked
"vocabulary, next class is in 2 minutes" Kari said

"yah. Park Jinyoung" Suzy said angrily breaking the door open. The 7 boys who were currently dancing in front of the mirror, stopped abruptly at the girl's sudden appearance.

"don't you ing 'jagiya' me" she glared at him "bwoh? audition? training?"
"a-ah Soyoon-ah" Jr said "let me explain-"
"let me explain, let me explain. Is that all you say can say to me now?!" Suzy shouted "why are you hiding so many things from me?! You've been saying that for the past 2 months whenever I catch you doing something."
"noona, calm down" Yugyeom said.
"let's break up" Suzy said
"bwoh?" Jr asked
"let's break up." she said again, clearer this time "shireo, I don't want to have anything to do with you if you just hide everything from me."
"Soyoon-ah wait," Jr said grabbing her wrist "let's talk about this"
"don't touch me" Suzy said coldly "let's do each other a favor and start focusing on our own lives."
"noona, aren't you overreacting a bit?" Bambam asked. JB immediately covered the boy's mouth as Suzy snapped her head towards him.
"I'm overreacting? keurae, I am" Suzy said "but say that to me again after telling everything to your girlfriend. After your girlfriend lies to you for 2 months and you keep finding out what she's doing through other people. After your girlfriend promises to tell you the next time, but she keeps on lying to you!"
"hyung, you're bad" Youngjae said to Jr who glared at him in response.
"I've been holding it in as much as I can Park Jinyoung, but this is the last straw" Suzy said "we're through. I hope you have fun training to be an idol."

"-yah, if you were going to be crying like this then why did you break up with him?" JJ asked as JSK was in the girls' locker room.
"I was mad" Suzy breathed out
"unnie, mian. But why is him being an idol such a big deal?" Kari asked carefully
"aniya Kari-ah, it's the fact that he didn't tell her" JJ said
"but unnie, it's not like you saw him cheating" Kari said "is there something wrong with being an idol?"
"a lot of people here want to be idols. It's hard work. It could take maybe years for them to actually debut. Trainees go through strict diets and standards and it's going to be hard for them. Chincha" Suzy said "I'm mad that he didn't tell me about such a big decision that could potentially change his life...tell him if you have the chance"
"yah..but it's not like you told him about your modelling offer" JJ said
"I turned it down, remember?" Suzy said
"you did? wae?" Kari asked
"it's too out there" Suzy said "remember? Milan? Yah, how am I going to survive there."
"yeah right, you didn't go because of Jr" JJ said "too out there. Bull"
"unnie, just say that you really wanted to go, but because you don't want to be apart from Jr you declined it" Kari said
"what's the point of saying it again if you already read my mind?" Suzy sighed
"think about this again. It's a good experience for you. Once in a lifetime" JJ said
"an ka" she said again
"just think about it" JJ said
"I'm going to practice now. I heard that you should sign up for the talent competition quick. A lot of people are already in" Kari said exiting the locker room.
"oh? Kari-ah, why are you here?" the coach asked
"coach, don't we have practice?" Kari said
"not today. I sent you all an email during break" she said
"ah, I don't think I got it. I didn't check my email when I was in Japan" Kari said
"ah that's right. You were in Japan" her coach said "well just take the day off then, are you going to join that talent thing?"
"molla, why is everyone talking about it?" Kari asked
"there's a big prize money at the end, also an automatic in to be a trainee at JYP Entertainment and a guarantee that you will debut" the coach said "I honestly didn't realize that so many kids in this school wanted to be idols"
"or they could just want the money" Kari said stretching her arms
"yah what are you doing? go home" she said
"gwenchana, I haven't done any exercise in the past two weeks, I'll be rusty for games" Kari said
"and your ankle?" her coach asked
"better. I can play regularly again. It doesn't hurt" Kari answered
"well that's good" she said
"coach, I'm just going to practice by myself for a bit" Kari said "I'll lock up when I'm done"
"arasso" her coach said. The girl got a ball and started hitting it against the wall. After that, she began practicing her dives. Flinching once she heard the gym door open, the girl stopped.
"-yah! Calm down!" JB shouted as Jr entered the gym
"what are you doing here?" Kari panted wiping away her sweat with a cold towel
"where's Suzy?" Jr asked "you know where she is right?"
"depends, what are you going to do?" Kari asked
"jebal Kari-ah, I need to talk to her" Jr pleaded
"she doesn't want to talk to you" Kari said "so just understand and leave her alone for a bit"
"tell me where she is" Jr said grabbing her shoulders
"Jinyoung-ah" Mark said "let her go"
"-cheer up by some bubble tea, what do you say?" JJ said as she exited the locker room with Suzy
"unnie!" Kari shouted "run!"
"y-yah, kaja" JJ said spotting GOT7.
"Soyoon-ah!" Jr shouted. Kari immediately gripped his wrist tightly "nwa!"
"run unnie!" Kari screamed
"let me go!" Jr growled throwing her to the ground. She scoffed and stood up. Giving him a round house kick to his back.
"culmanhae" Mark said pulling her back
"I need to apologize!" Jr said
"give her some time dammit!" Kari shouted "Jesus, now I'm annoyed. What you boys need to understand is that Suzy unnie's mad because you didn't tell her about something this important."
"this isn't a big deal, though" Jackson said
"yeah that's what I thought, until she told me how hard it is training to be an idol and how hard the life of an idol really is" Kari said "so can you please, just leave her alone and practice for that stupid competition"
"are you not joining noona?" Bambam asked
"molla" Kari said "naka, I'm not done practicing"
"are you not going to prom too?" Yugyeom tiled his head
"I don't know, no one's asked me" she shrugged "not that I care"
"what if someone asks you noona?" Youngjae asked
"depends on who it is" Kari said simply "now go, I need to practice"
