It is an ordinary day for Jackson. He is sitting down at his desk, reading a book since he entered the room, not bothering to talk to anyone. Not even his bestfriend, Jaebum. For him, book is more useful than talking about random things while  waiting for the teacher to come in.

He may not want to admit it, but he is very awkward and shy around people.

When he was first transfered here, everyone wanted to get to know him, but being the awkward self he was, he just nodded and shuffled his way to his seat. That day was the starting point where people called him arrogant bastard and avoided him. He hated it, but what can he do? 'At least I don't have to talk to people', that's what he thought. 

Eyes focusing on his book, his ears perked up when the door to the class is pushed open. In an instant, shivers run down his spine. He knows that feeling. In fact, he acknowledges it very well. Only one person can make his body react like this without him looking. 

Mark.

Jackson hates how no matter how many times he tells himself not to look at the older's direction,his eyes still and always find their way to the older.

And how he hates how he can't stop blushing whenever he sees the older. He always tries to fight the blush that creeps on his cheeks, and he fails everytime. 

And today, he finds himself hating it even more when he sees Mark with red hair. Yep. Red hair. As if having black hair doesn't make him hot enough. 

Red.

Jackson's favourite color. His favourite color on his favourite person. He doesn't even want to deny it. Red suits him and it suits him good.

Yep.

Mark is torturing him mentally by dyeing his hair red. 

It is when their gazes lock that Jackson realises he is still staring at the elder. He quickly averts his eyes to his book. Suddenly, the book is not interesting anymore. All that he can see is Mark. And his new hair.

At times like this, he wishes how time could pass by quickly so that he can reach his home and reflects on all of his sins to receive torture like this.

It's time to go home and as usual, Jackson is the latest to get out of the class. And he is the only person left in the hallway. He puts his books in his locker and as soon as he closes the door, his eyes widen. 

There, leaning against the locker is Mark. His crush is standing so close to him. He may not admit it, but he fanboys a little when he can see Mark from a close distance. 

Slowly, he feels his cheeks warming. 'Oh no. This is not the time.' 

'Maybe if I walk slowly he won't even notice me.' Jackson says in his mind and tiptoes. 

One step. Two step. Thre-

"Jackson, how do you like my new hair?"

Mission failed.

He turns around and smiles shyly at Mark. His gaze at the floor.

"I think it looks nice. I have to go now. Bye."

With that, he turns his heels and walks away with pounding heart. He lets out a breath he doesn't know he is holding and continues walking. Mark never leave his mind.

Mark pouts as he watches Jackson's disappearing back. 'He doesn't even look at me. Is it that bad? Should I change it back to black?' He sighs.

A moment later...

'No. I'm sure he likes red. I saw it in his book. I can't be mistaken, right?'

'Just you wait, Jackson Wang. I'll make sure you will look at me one day and only me.'

He chuckles and makes his way out of the campus and to his home.
