Jiyong's POV

The school bell rings, indicating that it is break time.

"Where are you going?" I asked CL.

"Canteen. I'm hungry," she replied.

"I'll come with you," I replied.

"Duh, isn't it obvious? Look at the chain," CL said.

At the canteen....

"Okay, where should we sit?" I asked.

CL ignores me and walks towards an empty seat at the corner.

"This girl, is she playing hard-to-get?" I thought as I followed her from the back.

"Say, what is your job exactly? I'm the Gold Knight and my job is to protect you. How about you?" I said.

"I'm one of the Keepers. My job is to protect the Gumiho," she replied slumberly. "Btw, don't talk too loud. The others might hear us,"

"Gumiho? I've heard about it 999 years ago. Have you found her yet?" I whispered.

"No," she replied and continued eating her food.

"Aish, this girl. I was told that I'm destined to be with her. I can't believe it. How can a cold person like her fall in love?" I thought.

"You, you think I can't listen to your thoughts?" she asked.

"What? You can hear my thoughts?" I asked.

"That's because our bodies are somehow connected. That's why I can listen to your thoughts," she replied.

"Then, that means, I can listen to yours as well?" I asked.

"I don't know. Find it yourself. I'm not you," she replied, leaving me speechless.

DARA'S POV

"So, what should we do?" I asked.

"Erm, I brought some food though. It's not that much though, but we can share it together," Youngbae replied awkwardly.

"O-okay," I replied back.

"Hehe, he's so cute. He even brought a lunch box to school!" I thought.

I see his face suddenly turning red and he is smiling.

"Why is your face so red?" I asked.

"I heard what you said about me earlier. You thought I was cute," he replied, still feeling shy.

"Omo, how did you know?" I asked, feeling embarrassed.

"It's okay. I'm happy that you think I'm cute," he replied.

"Ahaha. Then, that means, we can read each others' thoughts?" I said.

"I think so," he replied.

"Woah, this is so cool!" I exclaimed excitedly.

We eat together like friends and I start to think that the two of us would get along well.

"Let's try it then!" Youngbae replied.

"Omo! I can hear you! So, you're a Black Knight. Your job is to protect me," I said, whispering at the end. "My turn!"

"You're one of the Keepers and your job is to protect the Gumiho. Am I right?" he whispered.

"Yes!" I replied as we 'high five'd one another.

MINZY's POV

"Where are you going?" Daesung asked me.

"Library," I replied.

"You really love the library, don't you?" Daesung asked.

"That's right! I'm actually looking for information about a Gumiho," I replied.

"Gumiho? I heard about it before. Isn't she the fox who was often regarded as a Goddess?" Daesung said.

"That's right! My job is actually to protect her. But I haven't found her yet, that's why I need to find out more about her, maybe I can find out where she hides or something," I explained.

"I see," he replied.

"Eh, did you just say something?" I asked.

"Ania. I didn't say anything besides 'I see' a while ago," he replied.

"I thought I heard you said -You're really hardworking-," I said.

"What? You can hear my thoughts?" he asked.

"What? Then that means, you can also hear mine?" I exclaimed.

"I think so!" he replied.

TOP's POV

I see the mysterious girl resting, with her head on the table.

"Kim Joo Won-sshi, can I ask, who is she? What's her name?" I asked.

"Her name is Park Bom," Kim Joo Won replied.

"Park Bom?" I thought.

I see her standing up and walks outside the class. My curiousity got over me and at last I find myself following her from behind. She walks to the top of the building and takes refuge under the stairs. She lies down on the floor and continues sleeping.

"Man, this girl is totally a weirdo. She sleeps everywhere," I thought.

I walk closer to her and watch her sleeping face.

"Eventhough you're weird, I still find you beautiful," I said as I poke her cheek.

"Kill her now. This is your chance," a voice suddenly came into my mind.
