Chapter 22 (How To Kiss?)
A Crazy & Difficult Thing Called LoveOkay, here we go again. She's crying. I have to comfort her, caressing her head and hugging her tightly.
''Dae, Julian. He, he died,'' she sobbed.
''Okay. Sssshhh. Don't cry,'' I replied.
You see, we're actually in a bookstore. A huge bookstore actually. Apparently, there's a section where customers can borrow some books and read them here on the spot. So here I am, with Minji sitting my lap, reading her 1000th book. 1000.. I know right? She can actually read a 500 pages book in just 5 minutes!
''Okay pick another book. This time, don't pick the ones with tragedies,'' I said.
''Then, I pick this one! We can read it together!'' she replied.
What the hell? 'How To Kiss'? Seriously? There's even a book about kissing?
''Dae, you know that we haven't kissed one another even once right? I, I actually want it. But neither of us know how,'' she explained.
Aish. Now I'm blushing. This girl is so blunt. But anyway, why not give it a try?
''Okay, it says here..the first step is to get a partner. Check. The second step is to press the lips against one another. Then turn your heads at an angle for a better start. After that-'' she said.
I just can't take it anymore. Why do we need to learn from a book? Why not do it straight away and learn while we're doing it? So I cup her face and give her a kiss. Somehow, I'm feeling that we are improving by the second and gosh! I find ourselves actually french kissing one another! We finally break away from one another and she smiles, saying, ''Who needs a book to teach you how to kiss? When you know the skills come naturally,''
''Ehem. Excuse me, but this is a public place and as you can see, there's a lot of children here. Please, if you get what I'm trying to say, please don't-'' a worker interrupted us.
''Ah. Sorry. We're going off,'' Minji replied in English.

''Hehehe, thanks. You too, I didn't know you are a good kisser!'' she replied.
