Leo POV~
Nobody could get N to answer his phone. Nobody was too worried. They all figured the redhead would sneak in while they were all asleep, like always. Nobody knew what Leo did. Nobody understood that N was serious this time.
The others did their duty of snubbing Leo the rest of the night for upsetting N. Leo didn't care. He had been too busy trying to get N to answer his phone. After a while everyone wandered off to bed. But not Leo. He kept calling and calling. Until N's phone started going automatically to voice mail. But even when he had to give up, Leo couldn't sleep. He just stayed up, hoping N would come back. N never did.
Ravi POV~
Ravi stayed up all night, laying in bed with his eyes closed, trying not to strangle Ken every time he mumbled something erted in his sleep about N or Hongbin. He listened and waited for N to come back. Even if he knew N would just end up sleeping in the bastard Leo's arms. He just wanted to know he was okay.
But he never heard N come in. When sunlight started streaming through the thin curtain in his and Ken's room, Ravi got out of bed and got dressed. Ken was drowning in a puddle of his own drool. Ravi rolled his eyes and shook his head before leaving to investigate the rest of the apartment.
N's shoes weren't by the door like usual. Dread filled Ravi's chest. He hadn't come home. Why? Where was he?
He left before anyone else woke up. Where would N be? Did he fall asleep at his favorite cafe? No. They hadn't seen him? He wasn't anywhere he usually went to when he fought with Leo.
Ravi was worried N had left so he headed through the park for the bus station. With any luck N would still be at the bus station.
As Ravi took the trail past the woods he tripped on something. The snow was deep but there was something big burried in it. He started to dig, fearing the worst. White snow gave way to pink and then a face.
N was pale and half frozen. He panicked, further uncovering the redhead, laying his coat over him. He had a nasty head wound and wasn't waking up but he had a pulse. Ravi called an ambulance.
Leo POV~
He heard Ravi leave and started trying to call N again. Still no luck. Was N really that mad at him? It terrified him to think he broke things with the redhead so much it couldn't recover.
He paced around the room, just staring at his phone. What was he going to do? He couldn't survive if Hakyeon hated him.
Ravi POV~
He dialed the phone from the waiting room at the hospital. A team of frantic nurses had already swept the unconscious N into a room. It took a while for the person he was calling to get the point that the call was important and to stop hitting the dismiss button.
"Whachyuwant?" Ken's sleepy voice slurred into the phone. Sleepy Ken always reminded Ravi of a drunk child.
"I'm at the hospital." He replied calmly. The screetch Ken let out hurt Ravi's head.
"Wonshik are you alright?! OH GOD DID YOU DIE?!" He screamed. Ravi could picture him flailing around the bedroom. He sincerely hoped he refrained from breaking anything.
"Jaehwan don't be an idiot. If I were dead how could I have called you?" He sighed, ignoring Ken's shrill accusations of 'ghost', 'zombie' and 'godzilla'. "It isn't me. N never came home last night so I went to find him. He was assaulted. He has a head injury. He was unconscious when I found him and they haven't let me back to see him. All of you should come quickly. Cha Hakyeon is the one in the hospital."
As Ravi hung up he could hear another earth shattering shriek erupt from Ken. He doubted his judgement in thinking Ken was the best one to have rallying people. Well at least with his girlishly high 'things are unpleasant' voice, everyone was soon to know about N.
Leo POV~
Leo dropped his phone in shock the first time Ken broke the sound barrier. He heard Hyuk and Hongbin mumble sleepily in their room. From the things Ken was screetching afterwards he figured he had attempted to kill a spider or something. This behavior was normal for Ken.
The second time Ken broke the sound barrior Leo broke his phone and his heart stopped beating. Ken ran out of his and Ravi's room screaming and crying and telling everyone to get dressed. N was in the hospital.
Leo stared down at his shattered phone. Oh god. Why did he have to push him that far? It took only moments for Leo to be ready to go.
It took 10 minutes total for the group to get to the hospital. Ken and Hongbin were sobbing rather dramatically and Leo could see tears in Sanghyuk's eyes.
Ken ran to Ravi as soon as he saw him. Ravi hugged the crying man and tries to calm him. Even forever composed Ravi had red, puffy eyes. Red. Like N's hair.
Leo stood a few feet from the others. He refused to show emotion. He refused to show how scared and guilty he felt. How broken. He knew the others would think he was being cold but the truth is... If Leo let any tears slip through the cracks he would simply shatter.
He needed N. He didn't know how to live without him.
Ravi POV~
He held onto the wet, shaking mess that was Ken, trying his best to sooth him, the whole while, keeping his eyes on Leo. Leo was an emotionless statue. It pissed him off. N wouldn't have even been out that late if Leo hadn't been being... well... Leo.
This was Leo's fault. And the man had the nerve to stand there with that bored expression on his face? If they hadn't been in a hospital Ravi would probably have hit him until he left.
"Excuse me..." A nurse cames in and bowed to the group of men. "I have some unfortunate news..." That's all Ravi heard before he fainted.
