random bits and pieces two
WhirlwindIf you're not comfortable with death talk, you can skip. It's not really too serious or anything scary but I just want to warn you.
After grabbing lunch together, Luhan and Yoona decided to go to the book store of the mall to check the new reads. Reading is probably one of the few things that they don't argue about. Though Yoona prefers the romance slash supernatural fiction novels, Luhan prefers adventure slash mythology (aka The Percy Jackson series). She dislikes his The Lightning Thief and he despises her The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight but probably, the only book (or books) that they both read was Suzanne Collin's The Hunger Games trilogy. They loved the action and futuristic approach; he liked the thrill, she liked Peeta. And when they found out that it was going to be a movie, they vow to watch the three movies together. So far, they've watched The Hunger Games and Catching Fire already and this November, they cleared their schedules for Mockingjay.
But while they were riding the escalator to the book store, they weren't talking about books but instead of death. Luhan and Yoona have been open to each other of almost everything that they just talking about ANY thing.
"I'm never the one of likes going to funeral parlors, you know that." Luhan suddenly blurted out when he rememberd he had to attend a relative's wake in the afternoon.
"I don't know but I like going to funeral parlors. Maybe because I feel the warm support that's binding the family together." Luhan looked at her weirdly. "I really don't get how you think sometimes."
"I also don't like it how there are so many superstitions during wakes and what's worse is I don't know most of them." Luhan continued to blabber while Yoona just laughed.
"I know most superstitions though but I just don't believe in them. Say for example, the other week, I went to two wakes in a day and people were very worried that I will die next." Luhan grimaced at that.
"But look I'm still here beside you, still breathing!" Yoona laughed. Luhan rolled his eyes. "What if it's not, you know instant death, what if it's more of you have to wait for a few days from now?"
"Everyone's bound to die anyway." Yoona responded. Luhan sighed.
"But I really want to die instantly, like an accident or something, not cancer or something that's prolonged." There goes Yoona and her blunt words again. Luhan immediately shook his head when he heard what he said.
"Think about the people you'll leave without saying goodbye." Luhan said. "You're so selfish." His face was etched with a frown.
"I know I'm selfish." Yoona said with a mocking smile.
"Day by day, you're just getting more and more honest, it's actually scaring me." Luhan said as he led the way to the entrance of the book store.
"I'm only honest when I'm with you since it's you."
Luhan smiled.
