Sunhee and Sehun haven’t always been so strong.

Strong is how Sunhee saw them now, compared to the early stages in their relationship when she felt unsure about her future. Not that the future doesn’t scare her anymore, but at least now it isn’t because of their relationship and that makes all the difference.

Sunhee couldn’t fall asleep so instead she decided to spend the hours by watching a sleeping Sehun and recalling the old times, the good and the bad.

When Sehun had first found out about her condition, he had not exactly shown any extreme courage and selflessness to stay with Sunhee. It took him a while before he could come to terms with what was needed to handle her condition on a daily basis; the fact that even Sunhee herself had no idea how to handle it herself made it all the more of a nightmare.

Those has been terrible times, not only for Sehun but for Sunhee as well. It was so bad that she found herself being glad to have one of her episode. Because then, just for a while, she wouldn’t have to deal with the reality that was filled with stress, frustration and pain. Every single day there would be arguments, accusations and instances where the couple remained in stormy silence for a long time.

More than once Sunhee had snapped at Sehun that he should just walk away and leave her. She would still have her family who would look after her, so it wasn’t like he had to stay to make clear just how terrible it was to be with her. Sehun would snap back and accuse her of trying to trap him like this on purpose so that he wasn’t able to leave; and at times there was the rare accusation that Sunhee wanted to make Sehun the bad guy for leaving. She remembered that one time when she shouted that she didn’t care anymore what Sehun did, as long as he would stop making her feel so bad about herself.

Sehun had been silent for a moment and then walked out, muttering something about needing some space. The events after that were just a whirlwind of tension. Sunhee had no contact with him for months and her family came to get her back home. They muttered sympathetically and a bit knowingly about how this was probably for the best.

Sunhee was absolutely devastated. She hadn't want this to happen. She never meant for her words to have this kind of effect. She had simply been lost in her anger and that resulted in words she hadn’t meant to say. Sunhee knew how difficult this situation was for Sehun as well but she had just been frustrated about her life.

She found out that life with her family wasn’t much better. They had not been able to handle it very well either and she supposed she could understand some of

Chapter 2: Sunhee has a condition which makes her shut in herself and become detached from reality. Like a coping mechanism.
Sehun is there as much as he can but there is so much he can do. If Sunhee won't talk to doctors they won't be able to help.

I understand why she feels that way towards doctors. But every effort is worthy of congratulations. And Sehun has no intention on giving up on her. That is love.

Chapter 1: Sehun seems to have a complicated relationship with Sunhee. He loves her and wants the best for her, but ends up doing something that she is tired of. Maybe too much attention, too much care to the point that it becomes a bother. Looks like he is shielding her, not letting Sunhee live her life to the fullest.

Excited to see how rest of the story will progress!

Chapter 15: Fuh, what a ride! Although people were saying the both of them are of toxic relationship but I don't see it? Perhaps because I was put in a position wherein I can see their experiences, listen to their unsaid words and a glimpse of their intimate scenes. DSM-5 aside, I would say you did a good job describing the symptoms even though there were times I was uncertain but then again, your focus is on the relationship not on the disorder itself so I get it. Thanks for sharing with us, although it seems too late to say so but I do appreciate your work. XOXO!

Chapter 8: Up to this point, there is no specific disorder mentioned. Pretty sure it is under the Dissociative Disorder. Is it the derealization she developed?
