Silver Aura
Do not be mislead by the title, I'm just using latin numbers. so yeah....
“You won’t understand.”
“I’ll try. Just tell me.” He takes a lone step towards me.
“Hmm… I just found it extremely rude that you had to remove your clothing in my presence.” I peek at his eyes and locking my gaze on that.
“I promise, I’ll never do it again.” He takes another step, his proximity not fazing me.
“No need. After this you really won’t see me again.” He imitates me as his eyes lock on mine.
“No please, just… anything but that. Anything, I think I’ll die if I don’t see you again. It’s harder to breathe, it’s harder to wake up every morning and my thoughts always drift to you.” He shuffles closer to me and cautiously claims my hands.
“Leo. You can’t…” I let go, but he still holds on.
“You see, that’s even harder because I already fell for you.”
“No, Leo. This won’t work.” I shut the windows, the darkness engulfing our bodies.
“I’ll try until I succeed.”
“No, you won’t. My mother forbids and I really can’t. I don’t want anyone hurt.” I make up an excuse, he really shouldn’t be stubborn. He’ll end up hurting himself.
“I’ll ask permission from her. I know love can hurt and I’m ready.” He tightens his grip on my hands and guides me to the bed. He sits and while I stood still.
“Leo, no. You don’t understand. I’m too young, you’re much better with someone else, anyone.” The truth is that I’m a 90 year old maid, are you ok with that?
“You see, that’s the problem. I only want you.” He looks up, my hair cascading down to our hands and I was feeling tired with all that’s been happening I just had to sit beside him.
“Leo. What you’re feeling, it’s not real.” I sigh, calculating his expression thinking he’ll believe it.
“It is. I can feel it. The moment I saw you, I just knew you’re the one. I don’t care how desperate I sound. Just please, allow me.” He clutches on to my hands, for fear that I might let go. An exasperated sigh escape his lips.
“Leo, I’m not someone that can love. I can’t give it or receive it. That’s just the way it is.” I bluntly tell the truth, if this doesn’t sting him, nothing will.
“Whatever you say. I’m still gonna be more stubborn than you.” He lets go of my hands and I let out a sigh of relief.
“You don’t even know my name, Leo!” I raise my voice rearranging my features to an angry expression.
“I don’t need to know. All I need to know are my true feelings.” He walks slowly to the windows and opens it, the cool breeze thinning the thick aura of the room.
He turns around to meet my eyes again and leans toward me. “This isn’t love, Leo.” I whisper to him, my voice sounding poisonous with the howling of the wind.
“Whatever it is, I want to experience it with you.” His eyes bore through me, a sinking feeling comes over me and my legs shook with the unsettling feeling. He grips my shoulders tight and plants a longing kiss at the top of my head.

“Hi, Danb—woah. What happened?” Juri sits beside me. “Why do you look so tired?”
I sat still, my eyes pressed shut with the full moon’s rays peeking through my window. “Please, take me back. Take me back. I don’t want to hurt anyone. Please.” I rubbed my palms and gazed earnestly back to the moon.
I fell asleep on my desk, my hands stuck together and dry tears collecting in my eyes, but nothing happened, I’m still here. This punishment is too much, it’s too much.
“I’ve never seen you so tired.” She adds, sitting beside me and opening her book with a long, dragged out sigh.
“I mean, who can blame you? Studying is the life out of me.” She motions to read from her book but she changes her mind and just bows and meets her head with the desk.
I step out of the room, the sinking feeling yesterday gravitating towards the worst. My legs just took one step at a time and after a mindless walk I approach Hyuk’s classroom.
