Bonus Chapter #5--
Silver Aura
HYUK--
“Noona.” Hyuk emerges from the kitchen, still chewing the morsel of food he picked up before setting foot in the living room. Her back was to him, busy typing away and she yawns, arms reaching up to stretch.
Cute. He thought and smirks to himself, excited for his plan. “Noona.” He wraps his arms around her and rests his head on her shoulders. He bites down his lip to suppress a laugh as he can feel her stiffen with his touch.
Her fingertips hang midair and she cranes her neck to look at him, mildly amused by the sudden act of affection. He’s not usually like this.
-I don’t know Hakyeon oppa.
She rested her head on the pillow, holding the phone in front of her.
-That’s usually how he is, give him some freedom.
The older guy’s voice somehow makes her smile.
-I’m really not sure if he loves me.
She clicks her tongue, not believing how insecure she’s being.
-Yah! Don’t say that.
He reprimands her and she chuckles, imagining his face coupled by his words.
-I get it, sorry. Bye oppa.
Hyuk heard everything and now he’s determined to put his plan into action. By now, she had stiffened so much to the point of locking her joints and her breathing almost skidding to a stop.
He couldn’t help himself, not when she’s being so much like herself it’s so predictable and very endearing so he chuckles. Poor her, his voice vibrating on her back warms her face down to her neck. Oh, this is embarrassing.
“Noona, how did you become my girlfriend?” His face was still rested between her shoulder blades, comfortable.
“Uhmm…” She begins, squirming a little bit.
“Well, you know…” She raises her brow, reaching her hand back to push him off.
She doesn’t succeed and like a snake eager for its prey his hold tightens on her. “What are you doing?” She squeals in frustration. She never liked hugs, with the right(or wrong) circumstances they get so ticklish.
“Stop it! I can’t breathe!” Her voice sounded so high and shrill it managed to shake him off.
“What?” He questions her accusing gaze and sits beside her, effectively giving up on his plan.
She pulls on his hand. Her stomach rumbles but he lets go and slumps lower on the sofa. “You know I love you.” He mumbles. This makes her stop midstride then, feeling playful, she pretends not to hear and trudges casually to the kitchen.
“I know, I guess I just needed to hear it.” She whispers to herself.
RAVI--
She deflates, resting her head on one palm. I should not feel self pity. She shakes the bad thoughts away and instantly the tears that threaten to fall disappear. But, less than 5 seconds later the feeling returns. She scowls, looking for something to do to get rid of the emotion again.
She digs up an old planner dated 2013. Empty but this will do and she writes. Whatever her thoughts are, her feelings and anything that crosses her mind. A few tiring minutes later, she feels fine again but like an annoying itch the feeling emerges. This time more intense.
Ravi is well aware of his fragile and sensitive girlfriend, afraid of her pushing him away again he gives her space and time. But as the seconds tick by he feels regret and guilt therefore quickly doubling back and returning to their shared apartment.
“I’m home.” He calls out to her, she couldn’t hear. Her ears were plugged with sound and she is in her own little bubble crying, hating herself.
“I’m sorry.” She was chanting, mumbling while tears wet the ink of the words he had written, lyrics. She feels guilty. He doesn’t deserve this, especially not from her. He’s done to
