Henrys POV

I looked all over the place. Mel never came home last night and now I’m roaming around Seoul. This is just fantastic… It was about 6 in the morning and I got up to look for her at 3. She makes me so nervous when she doesn’t get back. She’s only been here for 4 days now and she’s already coming back late. This won’t be good for the future. I returned home and just looked through the hyungs rooms. Maybe she fell asleep in the wrong room? Now that I think of it, I’m so stupid for checking the rooms last. At least everyone was at their own houses. I opened the first door which was probably Eunhyuk and Donghae. They shared a room when they were staying at the dorms. Mel wasn’t in their room. I opened the next door and she wasn’t in there either. I continued this pattern until I reached the last door. There on the bed laid Kyuhyun and Mel. My heart dropped. Why was she here? With him? I slowly closed the door and hurried back to the living room to catch my breath. Was this anger I was feeling? Or was in jealousy? I ran to the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face. Maybe this was just a dream? No, a hallucination. Yeah, that’s right… I sat back on the couch and waited for someone to wake up.

“Hyung?” a soft voice said coming from the hall. I looked at the sleepy Mel that appeared and sat on the couch. She reeked of alcohol. Yes, so she was there from her drunken state instead of her normal self. I felt relieved from the fact that she was drunk. I should’ve been mad but I couldn’t help but smile.

“Why are you smiling like an idiot?” she grumbled as she rested her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her out of nature and laid my head back. “You’re not gonna yell at me for being home late?” She asked.

“I’m only happy that you came back safely…” I said to her. I felt her snuggle up closer to me and I froze.

“Why did I wake up next to Kyuhyun?” she asked me.

“You probably came home really drunk or something.” I shrugged and she fell silent. I looked down at her and found that she was sleeping. I smiled at how sleepy she was and let out a loud sigh. I’m so pathetic… She probably doesn’t like me like how I like her. Maybe she only kissed me back because she felt obliged to do it… I looked up and saw Kyuhyun standing there, frozen.

“Good morning hyung…” I said with a smile.

“She doesn’t like you. You were talking out loud.” He exclaimed. I stared at him with wide eyes.

“Didn’t she come home drunk?” I asked him suspiciously.

“No. She came home and went straight to my room. We drank together, that’s why she has a hangover now.” He replied.

“Why did she go into your room?”

“I’d rather not say.” He replied with a smiled and he walked off to the bathroom. I sat there frozen. She came home sober but drank with Kyuhyun? I rubbed my temples with my thumbs.

“…” I muttered under my breath. What if that was the truth? Kyuhyun never lies. But what did they do? My thought were interrupted by a knock on the door. “Come in!” I yelled. The visitor opened the door and entered the room. It was Tiffany.

“That’s dangerous you know… What if I were a saesang?” she said as she laughed and sat on the couch. She stared at Mel and shook her head. “Aish this child. I take her out for drinks and she gets so drunk that she could barely go home by herself.” She said in a calm voice. My mind stopped working for a minute. Mel went to drink with Tiffany, why would Kyuhyun lie?

“She went drinking with you?” I asked as I Mel’s hair. Tiffany nodded and patted Mel’s back.

“She was so drunk that I couldn’t help but laugh. I guess that’s what happens when you’re drunk for the first time.” She giggled and looked up at me. “So… What are your feelings for Mel?” She suddenly asked. I looked at her with shock.

“She’s my friend…” I replied.

“Yah… Don’t lie! She told me how you made the first move!” She raised an eyebrow and I shook my head.

“Psh…” that was all I could say. It was true but I didn’t want her to know my true feelings. We stayed silent for a bit, with an exception on Mels’ constant groans. “Did you know that she doesn’t know any of our music?” Tiffany suddenly said. I looked up at her.

“Our?”

“I mean like Super Junior and Girls’ Generation songs. She doesn’t know any. The only ones she knows is our earlier songs. She only knows ‘Into the New World’ and ‘Knock Out.’ It’s said since we have many more songs…” She informed me.

“Well… I guess we have to make time to show her some of our songs.” I replied. Tiffany nodded in agreement and she got up to leave. “Oh! How’s the comeback? You must be busy, how do you have time to see Mel?” I asked as she reached the door.

Mels POV

I woke up with a blanket on me and I was on the couch. What the ? I had a major headache and every attempt I made to getting up, well let’s just say I didn’t accomplish my goal. I looked around and a glass of water was handed to me directly at my face. I took it and drank it happily.

“I’m surprised you trust me enough to actually drink the water I give you.” The familiar voice said to me. I looked up and saw Kyuhyun standing there with a stern look. The same look my father gave me every time I did something I wasn’t supposed to do.

“What’s with the face Kyu?” I asked as I placed my glass of water carefully on the table.

“Don’t you remember what you did last night?” He asked suspiciously as he took a seat next to me. I scooted away so he didn’t get any closer.

“Yeah right. I was drunk, that’s all I know.” I responded. He looked down and was twiddling his thumbs.

“You made a move on me first!” He raised his voice.

“What move?” I asked as I lowered mine. Truthfully, I wasn’t scared of Kyuhyun. I was terrified! He had this stare that made me get lured by him, but it also made me want to go in a corner and hide. I had to admit h was cute but he was terrifying in my eyes. I’d be stupid to fall for someone like him.

“You kissed me last night and we almost…” He shouted but then trailed off. I hugged my knees as he became silent. I wasn’t ready to die yet. “We almost did things…” He whispered. My ears perked up as I heard the words ‘did stuff.’

“What type of stuff?” I tried to cover up my giggles so it wasn’t weird. He stayed silent and stared at the ground. I waited for him to answer but it never came. Instead, he stood up and stormed into his room.

*At Dinner*

I sat at the table with everyone. As usual, I was silent and snooped into everyone’s business.

“You okay?” Siwon asked. I looked up and smiled as I nodded.

“How can she be okay? She’s an orphan, her godparents don’t love her, she was abused, and her two best and only friends committed suicide. Yes because that sounds okay to me…” Kyuhyun muttered. I shot him a glare again and the members started asking questions.

“Cho Kyuhyun, you.” I said as I stood up and ran out the front door. I had nowhere to go. I didn’t want to go bother Tiffany, she might be annoyed by me. I reached into my pocket and I luckily had my phone and my wallet.

I never used the motel room I got when I came here. I walked in the direction of the motel and I forced a fake smile on my face. I walked into the motel and the lady behind the desk recognized me immediately. I paid her for the room and went off to that room.

I laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling. I really hated being lonely, but I liked being alone. The feeling of not having to rely on anyone felt nice. I closed my eyes and laid of the comfortable pillow. I felt the tears go down my face as I remembered being haunted by my memories. I tried wiping them away but I realized I was by myself. There was no point, no one would see my tears anyways…
