Tao comes in the front door, drops his gym bag “Hi”

Tiffany sits on the couch flipping through a magazine, “Hey”. Tao leans in to kiss her on the cheek but Tiffany hold his cheek and kiss him on the lips. She does not look happy.

“Honey - you smell different” said Tiffany

Tao pulls back smoothly “Different how?”

“I don't know” shrug Tiffany

Tao laughs “Well that's an odd thing to say”

Tiffany looks at him. While he cooly goes to the bathroom to take a bath.

“Maybe it's the ashtray and cigarettes I found. In the side yard. What part of ‘my dad died of lung cancer’ is hard for you to wrap your brain around, Tao?” ask Tiffany still locked her eyes on him.
