They are the story...
Kris and Dara
Dara is a single woman who repeatedly misreads mundane actions and comments from her dates as indications they are romantically interested in her. She then frets when the guy doesn't call. But all changes when she meet owner of a bar Kris, who reveals the strategies men use to avoid a woman. He explains that if a man is interested in a woman, he will overcome any obstacles to ensure they date again, and that Dara has been misinterpreting and obsessing over imagined "signs" she receives from men.
"I may do a lot of stupid but I'm still a lot closer to love than you are." - Dara
Tiffany, Tao, and Yoona
Dara's friend and co-worker Tiffany is having difficulties in her marriage to Tao. As Tiffany obsesses on their home renovations, Tao becomes attracted to Yoona, a yoga instructor and aspiring singer, and the feeling is mutual. Tao and Yoona pursue a flirtatious friendship under the pretense of him helping her establish a singing career. Tao reveals to Yoona that Tiffany coerced him into marriage by threatening to leave if he didn't propose.
"I sleep with somebody else." - Tao
"I can't stop thinking about you, either" - Yoona
Sehun, Yoona, and Sulli
Tao's lover Yoona enjoys a close friendship with Kris's friend, real estate agent, Sehun. He is romantically interested in her, while Yoona is only interested in a casual relationship with Sehun. Sehun misinterprets her hugs and cute nicknames for potential romantic interest. Yoona's friend, Sulli is in ad sales for a local newspaper. She helps Sehun promote his real estate business in a series of print ads. Like Dara, she meets many men (mostly online), but despite constantly monitoring emails, pager, phone, and Myspace messages, the "meetings" go nowhere.
"What if you meet the love of your life, are you supposed to let them pass you by?" - Sulli
Lay and Krystal
Dara's other co-worker, Krystal, is living with her boyfriend, Lay, who is also friends with Tao. After seven years together, Krystal wants to get married, but Lay does not believe in marriage. With Dara's newfound pragmatic stance on relationships after advice from Kris, she announces that she will no longer misinterpret vague gestures from men as more than they really are.
"I just need you to stop being nice to me unless you're gonna marry me." - Krystal
