I have a theory about how this all started... A girl will never forget the first boy she likes. Even if things don't quite work out....

Flashback to years ago...

Little Dara was playing at Leafy Park in the children's play area. There, in the sandbox, a little boy suddenly approached her. He watched little Dara for a moment as she gently shaped her sand castle. And then - out of nowhere - the little boy had pushed little Dara down.

Dara, who was almost crying, asked the boy, "Why did you do that?"

"Because you smell like dog poo! You're so stupid, just like dog poo. You're made out of poo!" the boy exclaimed, leaving little Dara crying..

But usually someone is there to offer words of wisdom.

"Made......of......dog......poo," little Dara told her mom with tears in her eyes.

"Honey.. Do you know why that little boy did and said those things? It's because he likes you," replied her mom.

Uh - excuse me -- but what - the - HELL?  Where did that rumor start? Because moms have been spreading it for years. And there it is. That's the beginning of our problem.

"That little boy is doing those terrible things because he's got a crush on you," her mom continued, letting little Dara take this in as though she is just now

beginning to understand the ways of the world.<
