                Kris comes in to your office one morning for a meeting. You were in a very bright mood because you have finally made a choice, you were going to take the risk in falling in love with him, once again.

                You were surprised when Kris came in with a lady trailing behind him. The girl was about 5’10, she was wearing a peach colored office suit; the skirt was 2 inches above the knee, she had nice long legs, pale skin with brunette hair. She also had these pretty eyes and a heart shaped face and had curves all in the right place. You didn’t realize that you were looking at her from head to toe. Kris caught your attention by faking a cough

“good morning” Kris said to you

“oh. Good morning. What can I do for you?” you said as you turned your head to Kris and gave him a sickeningly sweet smile

Kris wanted to roll like a buffalo because of your reaction towards his secretary, but of course he couldn’t since he had to act professionally even though he wants to laugh his guts out right now. He knew that smile oh so well. You were jealous. But he also saw a hint of insecurity in your eyes.

“I want to talk about the contract” Kris said as he sat down. He nodded to his secretary to also sit down

“Mr Wu, we’ve already talk about that last week and I also told you that if you had questions or wanted any revisions you could have just sent us an email or maybe had your secretary drop off the papers” you were still smiling

“but I wanted to talk to you personally” Kris smirked

“Mr Wu, there is no need for that”

“but I want to” Kris then snaps his fingers and his secretary scurries off to leave

You stayed silent and looked at him. Your smile fading

“you’re jealous” Kris laughed

“why would I be?” you said

“I know the look you gave her when she came in with me” he smirked and leaned in

“I don’t know what you’re taking about, Mr Wu.” You straightened in your seat

“drop the formalities” he said

“we’re taking about business and not personal lives”

“I came here because I missed you” Kris straightened in his seat

“why have you been avoiding me?” he looked at you straight in the eyes

“I’ve been busy” you whispered

“liar. I’ve been calling your secretary to get a schedule with you for the past week and I know that you’re not busy. I also checked in with your boss, he didn’t give you a load of work last week. Why?” he was dead serious

“please, Kris” you massaged your temple

“why have you been avoiding me?”

“I’m afraid” you whispered

“of what?”

“of you. Of my feelings. Of your love” you slumped your head on the desk

“love is about taking risks” Kris your hair

“I’m willing to risk everything you to have you back in my life and I promise I will never let go of you evr again”

You raise your head to look at him

“I’ll take the risk” you smile

Kris then kisses your forehead.

You decided to give this love another chance.
