You never visited Kris’ office. You preferred staying at home and serving him when he gets home. Every day you would wake up early to serve him breakfast and prepare his suit for the day. This was your day to day routine with Kris.

One day, you felt queasy and sick. You have been throwing up the whole morning and you hated breakfast. After you finished cleaning the dishes and sending Kris off to work you decided to go to the nearest drugstore. You needed to buy a pregnancy test kit. You noticed that you missed 2 months of your period.

When you bought what you needed, you went home to do the test.

POSITIVE

All 5 of the pregnancy test kit you bought showed. You were pregnant. You and Kris were going to have a child. The two of you are finally starting a family together. This is it.

You immediately took your car and house keys and headed to Kris’ office

“Mr Wu, your wife is here” Kris secretary says through the intercom

“let her in” Kris says

The door opens and Kris is surprised to see you

“baby, what are you doing here?” he says and hugs you

“Kris, I have something to say…” you whisper

Kris suddenly got nervous “is there something wrong?” Kris held your hands and lead you to the couch

“Kris, I – I” you stutter

“yes?” Kris was almost sweating.

You slowly pull out a pregnancy test stick and place it on Kris’ hand

“I’m pregnant”

Kris froze. He just stared at the stick on his hand. She’s pregnant?

I’m gonna be a dad?

“I’m gonna be a dad?” he whispers and looks at you

“yes” you whisper and look into his eyes

“I’m going to be a father!” he yells and stands up

“yes!” you say

He suddenly sweeps you off your feet and spins you around “I’m so happy!”

 “Kris!” you yell and grab onto him

“oh, right. Pregnant. I’m sorry. I’m just so happy” he says and hugs you

“we’re finally having a baby” he sniffles

You just hug him back
