Kris was waiting for your answer. You just stared at him. You were so confused. You searched inside of you. You knew that you still love him after all these years. That was the reason why you never got into a relationship after the two of you broke up. He cleared his throat.

“can I court you again?” he sounded scared

You wiped your tears “let’s start from scratch.”

“what?” this time he was the one confused.

“hi. What’s your name?” You said as you held out your hand for a hand shake

“hi. I’m Kris Wu and you are?” and took your hand

You told him your name and that it was nice meeting him.

“I know this is kind of sudden but do you mind if I invite you to lunch tomorrow?” he hesitantly asked.

“sure.” You smiled

“may I know where you’re staying so that I could pick you up?”

You told him that you were staying at Richmond hotel, you also gave him your room your number.

When you were sure that you were finally calm and have collected yourself “it was nice meeting you, Kris.” And stood up.

“how long will you be staying here?” he held your wrist

“one week.”

“me too.” He said.

“I’ll see you tomorrow then.” He let go of your wrist.

“good night” he whispered.
