A/n: happy Valentine’s Day everyone! :)

                You woke up to unfamiliar sheets. Everything was white and fluffy. This wasn’t your bed. This wasn’t your room. You sat up immediately and scanned the room. You looked at the bedside table and saw Kris’ picture. There was also a glass of water and some aspirin. You were in Kris’ room. You screamed. The door suddenly burst open and reveals Kris wearing an apron and holding a spatula.

“what’s wrong? Did something happen?” Kris asks worriedly

You didn’t know if you were going to laugh or yell at Kris. It was so funny seeing him like that but at the same time you were mad because you were here.

“why am I here?” you asked

“what happened?” you asked as you rubbed your forehead

“you were so drunk last night that I couldn’t just leave you there. I didn’t know where you live so I decide to bring you here.” He rubbed his neck

You started laughing

“what?” Kris asked confused

“look at you!” you pointed at him and rolled around the bed

He looked at himself and at you

“says the girl who looks like a witch” he laughs

You suddenly threw a pillow at Kris, but unfortunately, Kris was faster. He immediately closed the door and said

“breakfast is in 10 minutes”

You went to the bathroom to freshen up. When you were done, you wandered around his house. You saw a bunch of photos hanged on his hallways. You were particularly drawn to a set of frames on the living room. You stepped closer to see the photos. It was his photos, the time when he travelled a certain country, his achievements and… pictures of the two of you; times when the two of you first dated at the park and anniversaries. There was also a corner where you saw your pictures and current achievements, there were also paper clippings about you. You were so touched. He never forgot you all through the years you’ve been apart. He was silently watching you. You imagined him being so proud of you. You touched one of the frames that held his picture, you know this, and it was the picture you took when you were at the beach. Kris was sitting on the sand and the words written beside him was ‘forever and always’ you smiled

-flashback-

                It was a very hot summer day, Kris decided that the two of you go to the beach. Kris started running as soon as the two of you got there. You took the camera and followed him. You noticed that Kris was writing something on the sand

“hey! Take a picture!” he calls out to you as he sits on the sand

You went to him and stopped at your tracks

“hurry! Before the sea washes it away!”

You take the camera and took a snap shot.

When you put the camera down, Kris was in front of you

“forever and always” he says and kisses your forehead

“I love you”

-end of flashback-

“breakfast is ready” Kris says from behind you.

You almost screamed “you scare me” you whispered

“you should really stop drinking too much coffee. It’s making you jumpy” Kris chuckles and goes to the kitchen with you trailing behind him.

“so, what’s for breakfast?” you ask Kris as you sit down “smells great”

“fried rice, bacon and eggs” he says as he places the plate in front of you

You take a bite “wow! You’re cooking has improved over the years” and take another mouthful.

“unlike you, I don’t burn the food” he says as he sits in front of you

“meanie.” You whisper
