DESCRIPTION

She was never much of on outdoor person, but, she was too much of a sweetheart to refuse her parents' offer to stay with them at their beach house for the summer break.

Two week into the trip, she would always find herself up by three in the morning - just sitting on the sand by the sea, waiting for the sun to rise.

When it rained, she would stay at the patio with a lit lantern as her only friend, looking at the horizon for the first peek of sunshine for the day.

Nothing special happened those times, there was no interference between her and the sun. Just the sea and the sky as the only barrier.

It was peaceful - calming.

However, after a heavy rainstorm that midnight, at dawn, she finds a body on the beach - pale, dying and merman.

When I got this idea, I imagined the girl sorta helping the merman - by first-aid stuff or by magic/supernatural. They got to know each other after that, found out loads about each others' specie facts anf opinions, and discovered how much they had in common.

I mean, like, human and merman? No way. It's against the merpeople's laws and traditions which they have hung onto for many centuries. They wouldn't just give all those up just for the two who were
