Tiffany’s POV

We just had dinner and they decided to watch a movie. On the other hand I decided to go for a short walk. There aren’t too many people around until I reach the park where a couple of people are sitting in the park benches. The wind’s a bit chilly this evening it was a good thing I was wearing a hoodie and a pair of track pants. While I was walking I saw a small playground and I decided to sit on one of the swings. I pushed my feet away from the ground and I started to elevate. Sooyoung umma’s probably dying of boredom along with aunt YoonA and Yuri. Jessica umma likes cheesy love stories so they are probably watching one of mommy Jessica’s all-time favourite ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’.

A lot of things happened today.

The most important one? Me and my friends’ reconciliation.  It was a bit dramatic than I expected. And I should keep note to thank umma later.

“It’s pretty cold tonight” I snapped my head to the side and saw Taeyeon standing not too far away

I can’t help but smile. She took the seat next to mine.

“Movie’s too boring?” I asked but she only giggled nodding her head

“How about Hyoyeon? She wasn’t able to escape?” I asked

“She did. She locked herself in our room probably chatting with our lovable maknae” she answered turning her head away from me then looking up.

“What a starless sky” she said

I looked up and she’s right. There’s not a single star up in the sky.

“You know it’s been a while since we’ve talk like this” she said turning to face me

“I know” I tell her

She looked back up the sky. I can’t help but stare at her.

Taeyeon’s getting prettier. Her skin glows in the moon light and her every feature has gotten more define.

I blushed as I stare away and look up.  There was silence but it wasn’t awkward.

“By the way” I uttered

She looked at me.

“Did you follow me?” I continued and I can see her blush

“A-Andwae! I was also taking a walk when I saw you sitting her alone” she fidgeted with her fingers

“Then why are you blushing?” I teased which made her turn even redder

“I-It’s cold!” she said while I rolled my eyes

“You’re stuttering”

She looked away embarrassed. I like it when she’s like this. Nervous. She looks so cute.

“W-what if I-I was following you? I-I’m just worried” she defended her face still red

When I hear her say things like this, I can’t help but feel warm inside. I kissed her on the cheek and stood up.

“Buy me ice cream”

I stood in front of her as I held out a hand. It took her a while before she took it with hers. We held hands all the way to an ice cream shop.

“Your hand is pretty warm” I said holding it tighter

“And your hand’s cold” she said giving me one of her dorky smiles.

After buying ourselves some ice cream we went back to the park and sat on one of the benches.

“We’re gonna get a cold” I said my vanilla ice cream

“They say fight fire with fire and we’re just doing that except we fight cold with something cold” she said as she continued her strawberry flavoured ice cream.

Sometimes I want to see how Taeyeon’s brain works. It’s really amusing hearing her say weird stuff although sometimes they make sense.

“Exchange” I handed her my vanilla ice cream and she handed me hers

We have this weird habit of exchanging ice cream. It started as young as I can remember.

“This ice cream tastes like you” I said and I noticed her face getting red again

“Yah! Why are you blushing again?”

“I-It’s because you say a lot of weird stuff!” she answered

“And by the way you eat like a baby” she continued before taking a handkerchief from her pocket and wiping the side of my lips with it.

My heart stopped beating for a while. Seeing Taeyeon this close made me realize how beautiful her eyes are. I stared at her for a while.

“T-There” she pulled out before finishing all of her ice cream

“T-T-Thanks” It was now my turn to stutter and turn red. I turned back to my ice cream looking down hiding my face from her.

‘Why do I feel like this? She always does that to me so why do I feel…different?’

I shook my head at an impossible thought.

‘Maybe it’s because she hadn’t done it in a while’

“Yeah…That must be it”

“What?”

My eyes widen when I realized I just said that out loud.

“N-Nothing. L-Let’s go” I stood up about to throw my ice cream into the trash can just beside the bench where we were sitting.

“W-Wait” she held my hand

For the first time I felt electricity running through my veins and accidentally dropped the ice cream into the trash bin.

I froze and I can hear my heart pounding wildly.

 “Awwww~ there it goes” she pouted I broke from my trance

“I-I’ll just buy you another one” I said about to dash out when she held my wrist again and there it goes again my heart pounding wildly

“It’s okay Pany-ah. I just thought it would be a waste” I turned around to face her

“O-Oh”

“Yah, are you alright?” she said putting her hands on my cheek looking worried

I ply her hands away and she looked disappointed.

“I’m okay. L-Let’s just go home” I said to her and she nodded as a yes

We arrived home not even uttering a word. The whole way home was awkward.

I’m awkward. Every time she walks beside me I would fasten my pace. And there are times I would catch myself stealing glances at her.

As soon as I arrived home I went straight to my room. I went to take a shower to clear my head.

‘What is wrong with me?’
