My first one shot for the holiday special. I know this is a bit early but I already had it finished, so might as well post it. I hope you enjoy it~~

“It’s almost Christmas!” Bobby exclaimed, enthusiastically jumping up and down. You rolled your eyes and chuckled, “Just because we’re putting up the tree doesn’t mean it’s almost Christmas, you still have 23 more days babe.” You said to your boyfriend.

He gave you a goofy smile before carrying the box of the ornaments over to the tree. Yes, the holidays were coming soon and your boyfriend wanted to set up the Christmas tree. You always hated setting up the tree because you always got stuck with the work, but this year, Bobby insisted that he would do everything. So you just sat back and watched, occasionally putting up your favorite ornaments.

“No, I want to put up this one.” You whined childishly before snatching the elf ornament from Bobby’s hands. He smiled and shook his head at you before pinching your cheek, “Why are you so adorable?” He cooed. You just stuck your tongue out at him and went back to lounging on the couch.

You sat on the couch, flipping through a magazine when you heard a commotion. You looked up from your magazine to see Bobby tangled up in the Christmas lights. You couldn’t help but laugh hysterically at the sight in front of you. “Babe, how do you get tangled up in Christmas lights in less than 5 minutes?” You questioned, still laughing.

He glared at you, “Stop laughing and help me please!” He whined while struggling to get out of the mess of wires. You tried to calm your laughter as you went over to help him.

“But Bobby, you have to admit, this is pretty funny.” You said while grinning at him. Bobby and his good humor couldn’t help but laugh, “Yeah, I guess it is.” Making you chuckle and kiss him on the cheek, “Don’t worry, I’ll get you out in a matter of seconds.” You promised.

More than a few minutes passed and Bobby was still tangled up in Christmas lights. Both of you were starting to get frustrated. “(Y/N), you promised this would take a few seconds.” Bobby whined. You sighed, frustrated, “I know, but this is a lot harder than you think.” You snapped back.

Bobby was getting impatient and tried to wiggle himself out of the lights. “Bobby, stop moving! You’re going to make it worse!” You commanded but he didn’t listen. He kept wiggling and struggling until he fell. Since you were holding on to the wires, you fell along with him.

He fell on his back and you fell on top of him. You glared at him while he gave you a bashful smile. You sighed and tried to get up but you were stuck. When you looked down at the two of you, you saw that you were tangled in the wires with him. “Bobby! Look what you did!” you screamed, making him chuckle.

You glared at him, “This isn’t funny. How are we going to get out?” You said sternly. “Here let me call JinHwan hyung.” Bobby said, not even fazed by the situation. With his free hand, Bobby dialed JinHwan’s number and put it on speaker.

“Yeah, so that’s what happened. Do you think you could come over and get us out?” Bobby asked. You could hear JinHwan laughing on the other line, “Yeah sure. I’ll be there in like 10 minutes.” He said between laughs before hanging up the phone.

You sighed and rested your head on Bobby’s chest. You heard him laugh lightly. You looked up at him, “What’s so funny?” You asked, still frustrated about the whole situation. He smiled at you before pecking your lips, “Nothing. It’s just that this didn’t go as planned.” You looked at him, confused, “What plan?” you asked.

“Well I pretended to get stuck in the Christmas lights so that maybe you would help me set up the tree but as you were trying to help me get unstuck,” He paused and grinned at you, “You made it worse, so that I actually did get stuck.”

“Ohhh,” You said, “But why were you wiggling around and everything?” you asked.

“I was panicking. I thought I was going to be stuck in Christmas lights forever,” He defended, “And honestly how does someone get the wires more tangled up?” He asked, making you blush. You chuckled quietly, “Sorry babe.” You apologized.

He laughed, “It’s alright.” He said and you looked up at him. He leaned his face towards you and gave you a sweet kiss that made you smile. “You know, I don’t mind being like this,” He said, “It means that I get to be closer you.” You shook your head and smiled before returning him a kiss.

“Erhm.” You heard someone cough. You two both looked over to see JinHwan standing there with a sly smirk on his face, “I guess you two don’t really need my help then.” He said as he turned to walk away.

“JinHwan comeback!”
