After Freyja escaped from Loki, she rides her pink bike and went home.

On her way home, she saw Kibum walking alone.

“Hey!” she called him.

Kibum turns around and saw her.

“What do you want?” Kibum asks.

“Where are you going?” she asks.

“Mind your own business, ok?” he said and walks faster.

Freyja catches him again because she is riding a bike. “I just want to be your friend.” She said.

“Well, I don’t want to be your friend.” He said.

Freyja pouts and follows him.

“Stop following me!” he said.

“I am not!” she said.

“Did so!” he said.

“Did not!” she said. “I live here.”

“What?” he said.

“Me and my mom live here. See that pink house? That’s ours.” She said pointing at the pink house.

“Geez… We’re neighbors.” Kibum whispered.

“What?” Freyja asks.

“We’re neighbors. I live next to your pink house.” Kibum said.

“Cool!” Freyja happily said. “So, can we be friends?”

“No.” he said and left her.

After Freyja finished her homework, she starts arranging their things in their new house. Her mom is working at the hospital as the head nurse.

Freyja is busily placing the picture frames on the table when somebody gets inside the house. When she turned around, she saw Kibum holding a tray of cookies.

“Sorry if I didn’t knock. I saw the door wide open so I came in without your permission.” Kibum said.

“No it’s ok.” She said. “Why are you here anyway?”

“I brought you some cookies. My sister baked some cookies so I thought I can share it with you.” He said.

“Thank you.” She said.

“Sorry about last time.” He said. They are eating the cookies now.

“It’s ok I am not angry.” She said.

“Really?” he asks.

Freyja nodded.

Kibum smiled.

“Cool! This is the first time I saw you smiling.” She said.

“Friends?” he asks.

“Best friends!” she said.

After eating the cookies, Kibum helped Freyja arranging their things.

“Where’s your umma?” he asks.

“Sorry, what’s umma?” she asks.

“Umma means mom in Korean.” He said.

“Ah… She’s working in the hospital as the head nurse.” She said.

“Where’s your dad?” he asks.

“I don’t know. Ever since I was born, I never met him. Mom said that dad left us for another woman.” She said.

“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t asked.” He said.

“It’s ok. As if you’re the only one who asked me. Lots of people I know already asked me.” She said.

Just then, the telephone rings. Freyja answered it quickly.

“Hi mom? No I’m fine… You’re not going home tonight?... Ok…Take care.” Freyja talks to her mom.

“Your mom will not going home tonight?” he asks after Freyja talking to her mom on the telephone.

“Yeah…” she said.

“I have an idea!” he said.

“What is it?” she asks.

“Since you’re alone here, why don’t you go with me in our house for a dinner?” he said.

“Eh? Is it really ok?” she asks.

“Yeah. My family already knows about you and they are excited to meet our new neighbors.” He said.

“O-Ok.” She said.
