"How many CD's do we have?" asks Yonghwa, as the CNBLUE members sit in their waiting rooms for Music Bank.

 

 

 

"A whole bunch. Here, go take them and hand them out to the people around here." the manager says as he points to a stack of CD's on the floor.

 

 

 

"Which room should we visit first?" Jonghyun asks the members of CNBLUE for their opinion. Minhyuk shrugs while Jungshin just stares at his two hyungs, waiting for them to make the final decision.

 

 

 

"Anyone but SNSD since we got to save the best for last." Yonghwa says as he gives a shy smile.

 

 

 

"I'll visit VIXX first, since I don't know what Yonghwa will do to Seohyun's biggest fan, N." Jonghyun suggests.

 

 

 

"Hey! I'm her biggest fan!" the leader replies.

 

 

 

"Well N is a bit obsessive about her…" Jungshin teases as he leaves the room to start handing out CD's to all his juniors and seniors.

 

 

 

Being the younger ones of the group, Jungshin and Minhyuk soon passed out their whole stack of CD's before the older members, Jonghyun and Yonghwa, could even pass half of their CD's.

 

 

 

"See ya later!" Jungshin and Minhyuk tease the struggling older hyungs as they go back to their waiting room to play games and whatnot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"How many CD's you got?" Yonghwa asks once there's only room that hasn't been entered in yet.

 

 

 

"9. How about you?" Jonghyun asks as he stares at Yonghwa's stack, trying to estimate how many CD's he has.

 

 

 

"Last time I counted I had 9 too."

 

 

 

"Should we just give all these to SNSD and their staff?"

 

 

 

"Yeah, I think these will be enough. Besides, they have a lot of staff members since SNSD has 9 group members."

 

 

 

"Alright, let's go in." Jonghyun's heart beats louder and faster as he enters the waiting room of SNSD.

 

 

 

"OHHH?! Seohyun-ah your boyfriend is here!" the SNSD members say altogether but Jonghyun swore that he heard , "Yoona your boyfriend is here!" from one of the members and judging by Yoona's red face, he assumed he wasn't crazy after all.

 

 

 

"Hello." the two members greet politely while bowing their heads in respect and while doing this they glance around to see if any cameras are filming them. Since the relationship between the SNSD and CNBLUE members is quite good, the females are a bit shocked at their friends bowing to them, but they soon catch on.

 

 

 

"Don't worry, no cameras are here." Taeyeon says as she laughs.

 

 

 

"Here, a gift to all you guys." Jonghyun says as he hands out the CD's to the stylists, managers, SNSD members, etc.

 

 

 

"Thank you so much!" says everyone who received a CD.

 

 

 

"You guys are going just like that?" Hyoyeon says to the backs of the CNBLUE members as they stop in front of the door.

 

 

 

"Well, we would love to stay, but we didn't want to disturb you guys."

 

 

 

"No, no, it's okay Yong. We still have 30 minutes before we go up." Yonghwa's girlfriend says.

 

 

 

"Ah, really We're going up in 40 minutes. Mind if we stay?"

 

 

 

"Sure!" the 9 females say altogether.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"How's your ankle doing?"

 

 

 

"It still hurts, but I think I'll be fine since they bandaged it for me." Just as Jonghyun and Yoona begin to talk, a middle aged man walks in the door.

 

 

 

 

 

"Hmm? Wow, I didn't think CNBLUE would be here! Anyways, I'm one of the producers for Music Bank and we decided that Yoona and Seohyun will interview the CNBLUE members for their comeback! So here are your scripts, Yoona and Seohyun-shi." After handing the scripts off, he leaves the room as the other SNSD members look at each other with smiles on their face.

 

 

 

"Oh, by the way, interviews are starting in 20 minutes!" the producer walks back in the door and says, before leaving for good.

 

 

 

 

 

"Yah! What are you guys doing? I told you to pass out CD's not hang around at SNSD's waiting room!" CNBLUE's manager walks in and drags Jonghyun and Yonghwa out the room. "I hope this interview will go normal… Please don't make my heart flutter Jonghyun.., or else I'm going to look like a fool on TV.."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Live broadcast, Music Bank!" Yoona and Seohyun say together.

 

 

 

"Seohyun-shi." Yoona says to the girl next to her.

 

 

 

"Yes?" responds Seohyun.

 

 

 

"I heard that in the waiting room, there are people that make your heart flutter just by hearing their name."

 

 

 

"Yes, they are the CNBLUE members that just had their comeback!" Seohyun introduces CNBLUE.

 

 

 

"Hello. We are CNBLUE." the 4 CNBLUE members say together.

 

 

 

"Alright, so far so good." Yoona says to herself as the interview continues.

 

 

 

"Jungshin-shi." says Yoona as she notices a pair of burning eyes locked onto her. "Urgh, I can see him staring right at me…Please don't say something stupid or make a mistake.."

 

 

 

"Yes?"

 

 

 

"Question coming in. To be honest, I wanted to receive a song from another composer. One, two, three."

 

 

 

"No." Jungshin says before elaborating on his response.

 

 

 

After interviewing Jungshin, it's now Seohyun's turn to interview Minhyuk, which allows Yoona some time to relax a bit. "You almost made me make a mistake because my heart was fluttering when you were staring right at me.. Now, it's time to get my revenge."

 

 

 

"Jonghyun-shi, what was the most cruel word you're ever heard from your lover?" Yoona says in the cutest way possible, trying to break down Jonghyun's defenses and cause him to make a fool of himself on TV. 

 

 

 

"Out of contact, out of contact." Jonghyun sings his answer calmly. "Dang it! I tried getting my revenge on him by trying to make him make a mistake, since he almost made me make a mistake…, but I guess I failed."-

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Well," the manager says to the CNBLUE members, "A little over 15 minutes until your comeback, what are you guys going to do?"

 

 

 

"Send Jonghyun to the hospital to check if he has allergies." Jungshin teases.

 

 

 

"What?"

 

 

 

"Do you see how red your face has become?"

 

 

 

"Yah, if Im Yoona was a few inches from your face and displayed the cutest aegyo in the world, you guys would be blushing too.."

 

 

 

"Not me! I have Seohyun!" Yonghwa says as he thinks of Seohyun.

 

 

 

"Me neither! I have Krystal!" Minhyuk says as he thinks of Krystal.

 

 

 

"I wish I was in a relationship..." Jungshin awkwardly says.

 

 

 

"Don't worry Jungshin-ah, you'll find a girl soon. Besides, you're not the only single person here." Yonghwa comforts the maknae.

 

 

 

"He will be. Soon." Jonghyun mutters, but loud enough for the other members to hear as he walks back to the waiting room. Meanwhile, the CNBLUE members minus Jonghyun stare amongst themselves in shock, trying to confirm with their eyes if Jonghyun really just said what he said a few seconds ago.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"What do you think he meant?" the drummer says after the period of shock ended.

 

 

 

"Well, he obviously meant he's going to be in a relationship soon." Yonghwa replies.

 

 

 

"Yeah, but with who?" Jungshin asks the question everyone had in mind.

 

 

 

"Could it be he's in a secret relationship with someone?"

 

 

 

"I thought he liked Yoona though.."

 

 

 

"Well they're not exactly at the stage of being almost lovers. They're still at the friend stage."

 

 

 

"Hmm, I wonder who the girl is that's in an almost lovers type of relationship with him."

 

 

 

"Yeah, he's not even that close to many girls so it's pretty hard to guess who it is if it's not Yoona."

 

 

 

"Pretty confusing… anyways, let's talk to him about this later. We have to get ready for our comeback stage." Yonghwa says as he slightly pushes the other members back to their waiting room.

 

 

 

Little did the other members know that Yoona and Seohyun, who came back from their interviews, were listening to them right after Jonghyun said his shocking statement.

 

 

 

Words can't possibly kill, but the words uttered by the 3 members of CNBLUE certainly did a whole lot of damage. Yoona promised herself that she would never give her heart to another man after her nasty breakup with Donghae. She just couldn't trust anyone in this world. But when Jonghyun came around, things started to change. Jonghyun provided hope: that there were some guys in this world that aren't complete jerks. His kind-hearted personality eventually melted her icy defenses that her heart set up after her breakup with Donghae. And with her heart free from these defenses, she fell in love. However, a little part of her couldn't fully trust him, no matter how hard she fell for him. But, time was a solution to this problem. As she got closer to Jonghyun, she started to believe that he was a guy worth falling in love for. And right as she was about to give her full heart to Jonghyun, a bitter taste was left in after hearing about his 'secret lover'. "Guys will be guys I suppose. UGH, I fell for Lee Jonghyun so hard… Ah, I shouldn't have let a man steal my heart so easily…A part of me wants to believe that this isn't true, that this is all a dream, that I'm the only girl in the world for him. But a part of me is accepting this as a truth, a part of me is already building up anger inside, a part of me is building defenses around my heart again so that I could never experience this sort of feeling again. And it's gotten to me. I just hope that he never appears in my face again because. I'm afraid that these newly set up defenses will crumble when I see him."

 

 

 

Yoona wasn't looking forward to meeting Jonghyun at the music programs. However, she lucked out. Since the two groups were so busy, they barely stayed at one spot for a while. Each location there schedule was at were treated like subway stops: SNSD got on and got off to their next schedule just like people take the subway to work. So it was no surprise that Yoona didn't see him backstage at the major music programs. Besides, she didn't know how she would react. Would she fall in love with him again? Or would she shun Jonghyun out of her life and try to get over her unrequited love? Whatever the case, she knew that this avoiding of Jonghyun wouldn't last forever. He would question about their friendship being held at a standstill. He would notice the changes in her, he would notice her fake smiles. So that's why Yoona decided that she was going to make the first move in cutting off their friendship. She would do it when the two groups would meet for a dinner that the groups promised to have to celebrate another year of their friendship and successful comebacks for each respective group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jonghyun woke up with bright lights almost blinding his eyes. He wasn't used to this. He was used to waking up early in the morning, when it was still dark, because of his schedules. Judging by how bright the sun was, he determined that it was definitely past 12 AM. Still feeling dizzy from the brightness of the lights, he somehow managed to grab the phone and barely made out the numbers on the home screen. "2:35! Wow this is the first time waking up so late…, but then again I slept at 6 in the morning so..eh whatever. Only 3 more hours until that dinner with CNSD! Ah, what am I going to do until then. The rest of the band is out for individual schedules while I'm here all by myself so I can't hang out with them…."

 

 

 

But eventually the minute hand on the clock made two full rotations, which meant it was now 4:35. Still bored, he was extremely happy when a text came to his phone.

Hey oppa! Can you tell me what time you guys will come?

Did you mistake me for Yonghwa?

No, no. He just won't respond to his texts...

Ah, that's because he has a schedule. I'm actually the only one without a schedule. Everyone else will be done at like around 5.

So are you free to meet up right now?

 

 

To: HYUNgsoonim

Yeah…, but why?

I'm also the only one without a schedule in SNSD too, so I'm all by myself at the dorm. And besides, I have something really important to talk to you about. Is it okay if we meet at the restaurant right now?

 

 

To: HYUNgsoonim

Hmm I'm alright with it. See you in a bit then.
