Gackt sat on his large throne with his eyes closed.  Screams of agony echoed all around him.  He inhaled the scent of death and smiled.  He looked at the enormous hourglass in the corner of his throne room.  The sand was slowly draining… counting down the time until the lunar eclipse.  He couldn’t wait to complete the ritual.  He stood up and walked into the dungeon where Rain was.  He sighed in frustration when he saw Rain smile at him.

“How you manage to keep your spirits so high is beyond me…” Gackt hissed.  Rain’s body was bleeding and broken; the result of seemingly endless torture at the hands of Gackt’s minions.

“Give up Gackt… you won’t break me,” Rain said, spitting up blood.

“Rest assured that I will… And when you are broken… your soul is mine,” Gackt replied with a sadistic grin.

“Wow Shang Tsung, you’re so intimidating… Please, I’m begging you for mercy, why don’t you release me!” Rain said sarcastically; exaggerating every word.  Gackt growled and stormed out of the room, mentally ordering his minions to resume the torture.  He laughed devilishly at the sound of the cracking whips as he walked toward his throne room.
