The rays of sunlight hit Xiumin's face and soon, he groans in frustration. He finally gives up and opens his eyes, greeted by the white ceiling . Lazily, he pushes his body and sits on the bed. He had the dream again.
"Seulyeon," he whispers and a lump formed inside his throat.
Since she left, he had been feeling guilty and miserable. To make things worse, she appeared in most of his dreams.
He sighed heavily and messed up his hair. He looked at the balcony across him, thinking about himself.
The last time he had seen her was 3 years ago, when she came home, crying. Until now, he did not know the reason why and he could not even connect the dots on her questions to him.

"If I am happy, will you be okay with it?" she mumbled on his chest.
Xiumin looked down and tugged strands of hair behind her ear that covered her face. He wondered why she asked that kind of question. Ridiculous, he thought.
"Of course I am, honey," he kissed her temple and tightened his embrace.
Seulyeon felt safe in his arms and slowly, her arms crawled around his neck. Xiumin moved closer and angled his head a little as he planted a kiss on her lips. She was gone. Her wardrobe was empty and all her skin products on the makeup table were vanished. Xiumin tried to look for any notes from her but he could not find any.
"Why?" It was the only word he could think off.

It is another day at work for Seulyeon. The outside world becomes colder due to the change of season. The sky looks dull as it is painted with pale grey colour. The brown leaves are falling, making a big mess everywhere. Autumn is passing its baton to winter and for Seulyeon, winter means Christmas.
"Huh, I can't wait for Christmas. I hope it is going to snow," Seulyeon's ears perk up and glances over her shoulder.
She stops writing her reports and put down the pen. Sitting beside her, Jessica, props her elbow on her desk and tugs strands of hair behind her ear. Then, she pulls out a small mirror from her handbag and pats gently her skin.
"Ouh, my skin looks dry. Ottokae?" she whines and put back the mirror inside her handbag.
When she feels someone is looking at her, her eyes go straight to Seulyeon, who is staring at her. Feeling slightly embarrassed, Seulyeon blinks her eyes and mutturs her apology. Jessica just
