"Eat well and take care," Xiumin kissed his wife's cheek and went off to work. Hyosung placed a hand on her baby bump and walked towards the kitchen, where I was washing the dishes. Hyosung passed me and opened the fridge. I was scrubbing the pan but kept my eye on the pregnant lady. Her appetite could beat a grizzly bear.

"Where are the sour candies I keep in here?" she groaned. I blew a raspberry and tried to ignore her. I pressed the head of the small bottle and gooey, orange liquid went out and landed on my palm. Bubbles formed when I scrubbed my palms  and washed them off with water. I took the towel that was hanging near the sink and patted them gently between my wet palms. Then I realised that Hyosung was staring at me. If stare could kill, I would be dead by now.

"What?" I asked, innocently. Hyosung folded her arms and I raised my eyebrow. What's wrong with her hormones these days?

"Where are my candies?" I shrugged and took out some frozen prawns and squids to defrost them, Xiumin's favourite seafood for dinner. Suddenly, the mad, pregnant woman slammed open all the cabinets harshly and threw everything from the cabinets. I completely ignored her and placed the frozen seafood in the sink.

For your information, she has been acting like this since I moved in with Xiumin, which also means I live with my husband's second wife. It started a week after I stayed here. When Xiumin was out, she became a crazy woman. She would throw her tantrum for some ridiculous reasons and even hurt me at some point. I just need to ignore her because pregnant women had mood swings a lot and Hyosung was one of them. Comforting her was a big no-no. Even if you learnt Muay Thai like forever, it was impossible to beat Hyosung's slap, punch, kick and her ear-piercing shout. The power of a pregnant lady, perhaps?
