I was eleven the first time I realized that I’m a gay. Boys around my age were happily expressing their crush for a girl in our class, Jung Soojung. She’s very beautiful and almost all boys were crazy about her, but not me and my Hyungs. We had zero interest towards her. Surely she’s a perfect beauty, but I don’t have any interest towards girls. Never once in my life a girl made me blush nor nervous, NEVER. But, there’s a certain person who never fail to turn me into jelly. A boy in the name of Kim Sunggyu, my neighbor slash childhood friend slash my beloved Hyung.

It’s all started one day in the end of August, only a few days before my eighth birthday, when we’re supposedly enjoyed our summer vacation by going to a summer camp, but apparently we didn’t. Why? Yeollie-hyung was sick. I don’t know why, but he seems to have a bad relationship with summer that he often spends his summer on bed because of some illness and that day it was a high fever –again–. Of course we’re occupied to nurse him. Both of my parents were working that time, my dad was working at advertisement company while my mom was a trainer in a dojo. You all know that she has black belt in judo and taekwondo, right? :3

Because she worried about Yeollie-hyung, my mom who’s supposedly at work, came home immediately when we called. That Hyung of mine pretended he’s okay since he was so excited about the camp, he was blabbering about his to-do list since last night and we didn’t have a heart to cancel the whole plan, so we let him. But, just before we departed, he fainted, collapsed when we went downstairs. Fortunately, Woohyun-hyung was right beside him and quick enough to pull him before he fall. We’re merely kids and extremely shocked at the moment, even me, I started crying in such embarassing way. Gah! I was only seven-soon-to-be-eight, okay?! DX

Gyu-hyung, as the oldest among us, he took care of everything. The first thing he did was helping Woohyun-hyung carrying my cousin to his room, I was tailing behind them and still crying like a baby by the moment Gyu-hyung stood beside me..

“ Stop crying, Jong..” he said, soothing me as he was rubbing my back in reassuring manner.

“ B-but.. Yeollie-hyung..” I mumbled, tears still falling.

“ He’ll be okay..” Gyu-hyung replied with a gentle smile, “ Now, stop crying, ‘kay? We need to contact your parents..” he added, wiping the tears with his hand.

I only nodded, then we walked downstair to call my mom, he’s the one who spoke, of course..

“ Uhm.. Good morning, Sir. Can I talk to Ms. Seo Yoojin?” Gyu-hyung spoke politely.

Seo Yoojin is my mom’s name. Well, whose else could it be anyway.. ><

Just a moment after that, I heard Gyu-hyung explained to my mom that Yeollie-hyung fainted and asking if she could go back earlier. He nodded to me, signaling that she’d come back as soon as possible, then ended the call..

“ We can only wait now.. Let’s see how’s Yeol doing,’kay?” he said, smiling gently as he grabbed my hand, held it all the way to Sungyeol-hyung’s room.

Once we arrived, Yeollie-hyung was wide awake already, eventhough he was lying on the bed weakly. His face was as red as tomato, but he continued whining about random things and wouldn’t stay still..

“ Yeojong-nim~ I want to play with my dragon~”

“ You don’t have any dragon, Yeol..” Woohyun-hyung replied with a sigh.

“ I have one!! His name is Cerberus!!” Yeollie-hyung exclaimed.

I glanced at Gyu-hyung with puzzled eyes, “ Hyung, is it just me or is it right that Cerberus is Hades’ three-headed dog that guard the entrance of Tartarus?” I remembered I read about it when I was stumbling around Yeollie-hyung’s book collection the other day.

“ Well, as far as I know.. It is,” Gyu-hyung answered, grinning sheepishly.

“ How come it could turn ito a dragon, then?” I asked dumbly.

“ I don’t know..” Gyu-hyung replied, still with his grin.

Our conversation stopped as we heard Yeollie-hyung’s loud voice..

“MY FAIRY GODMOTHER HAS TURNED INTO A WICKED WITCH!!”

“ Eh?” both of me and Gyu-hyung turned at the bed where Yeollie-hyung laid with Woohyun-hyung sat on the edge..

“ It’s not that, Yeol..” Woohyun-hyung cried.

“ Then, what?! You’re not allowing me to play with my dragon!!”

“ You don’t even have a dragon, for unicorn’s sake!!”

“ I have one!!! He’s waiting for me in the barn!!”

“ Hah?! This is the first time I heard someone kept his dragon in a barn!!”

“ You’re not Yeojong-nim!! He knew that I have a dragon, even from the start!! Who are you?!!”

“ What??!! Now, you’re doubting me!!”

The two was bickering with such loud voice without even care about us –me and Gyu-hyung– who were watching them in silent and slight amusement.

Well, Lee-choding and Nam-grease could be a perfect partner in crime, on the other hand they could fight over stupidest things like Tom and Jerry.. Aigoo.. Those two Hyungs.. *sigh*

“ Boys..” Gyu-hyung called softly, only to be ignored by the two.

“ My Yeojong-nim never smell like cheese as you!!”

“ I’m not smelling like cheese, you stupid choding!!”

“ I’m not choding!! I’m Snow White!!”

“ How can a boy be a princess, you silly?!!”

“ Boys..” he tried again.

“ doesn’t matter!! I’m tall and gorgeous!!”

“ You’re not Snow White! You’re an alien!! Tall, weird, and abnormally chubby alien!!”

“ BOYS, STOP IT, WILL YA?!” in the end, Gyu-hyung exploded. The two stopped their little big fight, didn’t have any courage to look at the oldest among us. I could only giggle at the side, watching the whole fuss.

It’s such a fun thing to watch. Those Hyungs looked so stupid~ XD

“ Omo~ What happened, boys? I could hear your voice from the front door..”

All of us looked at the door at once the moment we heard a woman’s voice, my mom’s..

“ Oh! Your Highness!” Yeollie-hyung blurted as he saw my mom.

Actually, he thought my mom was a queen from far far away kingdom or something and my dad was the king. Hyung addresses him as Your Majesty.. :3

“ Mom!” I squealed.

“ Ah, Auntie, annyeonghaseyo..” Gyu-hyung and Woohyun-hyung bowed politely.

“ Hahaha.. How’s your condition, Yeol?” my mother asked, walking towards my sick Hyung right away.

“ I’m fine, Your Highness. It’s just that wicked witch didn’t allow me to play with my dragon..” Sungyeol-hyung said, pouting.

“ Eh? The last time we met, he’s your fairy godmother, isn’t he?” my mom said gently.

“ He’s the fake one!”

“ Hahaha.. It’s not like that, Yeol..” she ruffled Hyung’s hair, “ He’s the Yeojong-nim we know all this time.. It’s just you’re sick right now that you need to rest.. He cares about you..”

“ B-but..”

“ No buts. Now just rest. I’ll make something for you to eat, ‘kay? He’ll keep you accompany..” my mom said. After earning a nod from Hyung, she left the room.

Once she left us alone, Gyu-hyung held my hand, then looked at Woohyun-hyung..

“ Woohyu
