No One's POV

"Joonnie oppa! I passed my math test!" a little middle schooler Sohee squealed jumping up and down gripping her test tightly to her chest.

"Wah! Really?! Let me see!" Joonmyun takes it from her and ruffles her hair with a wide smile on his angelic like face. "That's my Sohee! I knew you could do it!"

"Thanks for all your help oppa. I really couldn't have done it without you."

"Aye, I can't take all the credit."

"No, you can't because it was my brain," she teased. "Hey let's go get some frozen yogurt. My treat!" she sang.

"How can I refuse free food? Let's go!" they walked out the school gate hand-in-hand.

"Ms. Yang?" the nurse's voice woke Sohee up. "The doctor is ready to see you and your family now."

"Oh, thank you," she bowed and went into the doctor's office.

"Dr. Lee, how is everything?" Mrs. Yang asked.

"Please have a seat," we all sat down in front of his desk in anticipation, "we did run some tests and Yoseob does have leukemia. Luckily it is still in its early stages. So if we take the right measures, it can be cured."

"Yes, please. Do whatever it takes," Mrs. Yang said in complete tears.

"Yes ma'am we'll do our best. Now the first round of chemotherapy will be $183,000. Then after that it'll be $150,000 per round."

"And how many times will he be receiving the treatments," Sohee asked.

"Usually patients would receive it three times a month, for how long depends on the patient's progression."

"I see. Are we allowed to monthly payments? Like $15,000 a month until we pay it all off," Mr. Yang asked desperately.

"Yes it is possible to do that."

"Okay, please go on with the treatments then."

"Very well then. We'll start his first treatment tomorrow morning, you all my go see him. Room 729, it's right down the hall."

"Thank you doctor," they all bowed and walked towards Yoseob's room.

"What are me going to do? We don't have that kind of money?" Mrs. Yang cried out.

"It'll be okay money. I can always go out and get a job as well," Sohee rubbed her mother's back.

"Yeah. And we both can go out to find another job," Mr. Yang pointed out. "We'll get through this. Now wipe those tears, we don't want our little guy worrying."

"No we don't," after Mrs. Yang had her emotions under control, they headed in.

"Hey buddy, how you feeling?" Sohee asked as she sat on Yoseob's bed.

"I'm tired noona," her ten year old brother pouted.

"Sleep then baby," she cooed.

"Did the bullies do that to you again?" he pointed to her cut lip.

"Yeah, but it's okay. It's healing."

"Umma, appa, noona. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused."

"It's okay. Just get better soon son," Mr. Yang his son's hair until he fell into deep slumber.
