"Suzy-ah?" I glanced up at Yongguk from my laptop. "Want to go out to eat?" I looked at my watch.

"Yeah, I haven't eaten since 5 this morning." He smiled and rolled his eyes at me. "Let me change first." I walked to the room of my apartment, it has been approximately 273 days since I moved to California. Also it's been 274 since i’ve spoken to that asshat Zelo. For the first few months he left many angry voice messages on my phone before he gave up. I lived with Yongguk for 2 months before I had saved up enough money to move into a small apartment. Yongguk has probably been my biggest blessing, he helped me get a job and get into nursing school, he has also helped me kind of get over Zelo. Sadly, I think he’s hiding something from me. He’s always offering me help, either he’s guilty for something or has a crush on me. I shook my head… No, it’s probably just nothing.

“Lets go Suzy! I have to go to the office in an hour or two.”  I jumped slightly before running to pull on a sweater and pants. I walked to living room, Yongguk was sitting on the chair and text. I smiled he looked so happy texting, whoever he was texting. I kind of reminded me of how Zelo used to look at me when we first started dating… I walked quietly behind him, when I got close enough.

“who are you texting?” I whispered in his ear. He shot up in the air and I could of swore I saw Zelos name on the screen. Even if it was, that’s okay.

“It was nothing!” He yelled.

“nothing?” I raised an eyebrow

“um a friend. Are you ready? Because I am. Let’s go.” Yeah, he’s definitely hiding something.

“Okay, Okay… Here’s another. Why does a chicken coop have two doors?”  I looked at him. Wondering if I really wanted to hear another horrible joke.

“Why?”

“If It had four, it would be a chicken sedan!” He started laughing really hard. When he noticed I wasn’t laughing. “Get it? Because a mini coop has two doors? A sedan has four? Get it?” I chuckled and shook my head.

“You’re a dork Guk” He blushed and scratched his cheek.

“I try” He glanced at the left overs on my plate. “Do you want a to-go box?” I shook my head no, It’d just go to waste.

“Guk…” I knew when he glanced up the mood had become serious. “Are you… hiding something?” He looked at the table and then back at me. “No.” I nodded ending the conversation. He was lying. In the past 9 months I’ve gotten to know him. I learned his tell. The tip of his ears turned red. He stared at the table before looking back to me.

“I need to… go to work.” I was beyond frustrated. What was he hiding from me?  

Okay... Very short chapter. Already writing next chapter.  Expect less Suzy more of the boys.
