"what's bothering you sweetheart?" andy said as he sat beside junjin

"nothing..." the older one lied

"you know you are not really good at conceiling your emotions..."

"i'm just tired babe...i just need some rest...will you just stay here beside me?"

"ok... but whatever it is..remember you can talk to me ok?"

jindy coupled cuddled all night.. junjin wanted to tell andy what was bothering him but he promised hyesung he will keep it...

"this is so hard..it feels like whatever i will do i will be betraying one of them..." he thought as he stared at the ceiling

soon.. it will be hyesung's birthday...

he decided to throw a little gathering with the shinhwa members and other friends in the industry in garden of one of the famous hotels in seoul...

"saengil chukha hamnida!!!" everyone sang as hyesung closed his eyes and made a wish.. then he blew the candle...

after that while everyone was busy eatign adn chatting, eric approached the birthday celebrant

"happy birthday hyesungie..." the leader chimed.. he handed hyesung a little blue box with a tiny bow... "i hope you will like it..."

"oh.. ko..komawo eric ah..." hyesung shyly accepted the gift... they were both looking into eachother's eyes..seemingly time has stopped around them until somebody tapped eric's shoulder..

"can i borrow hyesungie for a moment?" kangta asked

"oh...ok..." eric said as he made way for hyesung to pass...

kangta lead hyesung in the middle of the set up dance floor

"everyone.. may i have your attention please..." kangta called everyone's attention

the shinhwa members watching from the side.. junjin felt tensed..."it can't be..." he thought

"i would like to present my gift to our birthday celebrant..."

suddenly music started playing... it was hyesung, kangta and their friend lee ji hoon's i swear

hyesung was singing along.. then suddenly a group of people in white came in with red roses in hand.. one by one they handed hyesung the roses...

and by the end of the song..the lights suddenly grew dim..

and then teh sky lit up.. beautiful  and colorful fireworks...

"hyesung ah...i just want you to know that i love you.. i have waited for a long time...and  you know that i will wait till forever for you...but ..i want to risk this chance to ask you... Jung Pil Kyo..will you be my lover?"

evveryone was anticipating for hyesung's answer...

the shinhwa members are staring at him..."what do i do?" he asked himself...

then he saw eric...he remembered...

at that same moment, eric he wa just dumbfounded...how can kangta pull this off right now...

"yes..."

that word..it gave shock to shinhwa.. it made other visitors cheer and congratulate the new couple...

the moment kangta hugged hyesung.. was the same moment eric's tears fell...

in the midst of congratulating and cheering.. eric walked to the new couple after wiping his own tears

"ch...chukhae..." he said as he reached for kangta's hand and shook it

"i..i hope you will be happy..." eric then turned and left.. his tears fell once more...

hyesung was looking at the only person he loved turn and walk away.. he wanted to take it back.. and run to him.. be in his head, he did the right thing..

"for eric...." he thought...

"well that was unexpected..." dongwan said as they sat down

"where is eric hyung?" andy asked looking around as he noticed their leader was not with them anymore

"oh.. he left...i guess he needed to be alone at this moment..." minwoo said

hyesung made his way to his friends and sat down with them

"are you sure about this?" junjin asked him

"yes i am..." hyesung answered as confident as he could..

"how about eric hyung?" andy asked

"he will be ok.. and soon he might also find the one for him..." hyesung said trying to hide his sadness althought when he looked at junjin, he knew his baby bird knew exactly how he felt..

in his apartment, eric found himself face to face with bottles of soju.. and currently he is on his 5th one...

"why hyesungie? why?" he asked the picture in his hand.. "don't you love me anymore?"

eric felt devastated... he recalled how his heart broke when hyesung answered kangta..

he lost the one he loves the most..

eric slowly laid on the floor, holding hyesung's picture close to his chest...

he couldn't hold his tears back anymore..

he cried..he cried his eyes out...

on that floor, eric, the leader of shinhwa cried himself to sleep...
