It had been almost 2 month I last seen Hyuna. I know she was busy with her work. I always updated about her news especially from Sungjong. Hmm. I start to miss her again. Aish. Christmas Eve coming I wonder she will be free a not. Should I ask her out? I should send her this first.

Hope she will like it and able to reply me fast. I really miss her a lot. I want to see her soon. I want to hear her voice too. I should try to ask her out too.

Ani. I want to give you a present on that day. Can we meet up at Han River about 8pm?
OMO. OMO. SHE ASKING ME OUT. SHE ASKING ME OUT. HAN RIVER. HAN RIVER. OMO. OMO. I’m so happy and start jumping up and down now. HYUN ASKING ME OUT. A present for me. Was that a Christmas present for me? Then I should get something for her too. What should I get for her?

OK. But are you sure you able to make it? I know you are especially busy these 2 weeks. Do you need me to pick you up?
I remember knowing well that she quite busy for that week especially she was invited to perform in Dazzling Red with other idol on 29 December. I don’t mind picking her up too seen I can see her as early as I want.

Ani. I will go there by myself. So I will see you at Han River 8PM. Remember don’t be late
Hyun. I’m meeting you. How could I be late? I so much want to see you soon. I thought I have to wait till 29 December but no… I can see you on Christmas Eve. Aish. I should ask her first

OK. I wouldn’t be late. You can take your time even if you are late. No need to rush. I will still wait for you.
Yeah. I will wait for you even you are late. As long as you show up I will be happy.

See you soon, Hyun. Love you. I kiss my phone. I really want to see her now. I want to hear her voice. Omo. I’m dying to see her now. Now I need to get present for her. But should I get for her? Hmmmmm. It was good that I still have few more days to think about it.
24 December night
I’m so nervous. My first date with Hyun. Aish. It wasn’t a date, Kim Sunggyu. Calm yourself down. But no matter how I tell myself I can’t stop myself pacing up and down. My heart was beating fast. I wonder she will like my present for her and what present she going to get for me. It was good that now was night not much people can recognise me. It was cold outside I hope she will wear more cold when she on her way.
Omo. I’m so nervous now. I saw someone walking towards me. But it doesn’t look like Hyun. The closer she walks to me the more I wonder who that was. Her figure look so familiar but I can’t see who actually was. The moment she calls my name I know who that was. It was no other than Jeon Ji Yoon, my best friend girlfriend. I felt disappointment and weird why she was here.
“Hey. Jiyoon” I call out her name try to hide my disappointment and I receive a message

To: Gyu Bear Oppa
Gyu oppa. Did you receive my present to you? A date with Jiyoon unnie. I know you like her so I sent her to you as a present. Merry Christmas to you. Have fun
After I finish reading Hyun message my world falls. I was thought that I have a chance with her since she asks me out. She thought I like Jiyoon but the one person I like was Hyun.
“Hamster oppa. Are you ok?” Jiyoon ask when I keep totally silent
“I was wondering who Hyunnie was meeting and never thought it was you. When did you and Hyunnie become so close?” Jiyoon continue I still remain that I trying not tear up
“Hamster oppa. Are you OK?” Jiyoon shook my shoulder
“Why are you here?” I finally able to speak up
“Hyunnie ask me to come here and pick up something and I never thought she was meeting you.” Jiyoon say and I show her my phone and remain silent
“Aish. This Hyunnie. No wonder recently she keep asking me about how I feel about you. She thought that I like you and you like me.” Jiyoon say after finish reading the message
“Why she think that way?” I asked
“Because of the variety show in the past. During that show you sing and confess to me. I think she misunderstood it.” Jiyoon say
Yeah. She really did misunderstood. Jiyoon and I was just friend back there and she was my best friend girlfriend too. The first time I sing to Jiyoon was just being request by them. I chose Jiyoon because out of all female idols I only know her and she wouldn’t misunderstand thinking that I really like her. It was just a show why she takes it so serious? The one I like, the one I love was Hyun no other girl.
“Are you somehow falling for Hyunnie?” Jiyoon ask and I look up in surprise. Was I that obvious? I keep silent
“I know she have just break up with her boyfriend.” Jiyoon say and I’m more surprise. I know Hyun never told anyone that she have a boyfriend.
“How do you know that?” I asked trying not being obvious surprise
“She was my member, my dongsaeng. I know she been hiding not wanting us to know. So everyone just act as not knowing anything. But since last year we heard her crying alone at night. We all know it was something between her and her boyfriend. I want to confront her and ask her what happen. But she tries to keep her voice low not to cry too loud for us to know she was crying. All of us feel pain and sad not knowing what we should do. Since that night onwards till just past few months she always cries alone at night. But next day she will keep her smile on her face. She hides her true emotion inside her and places a mask over to show that she was totally fine. Until last 3 month she starts feeling much happier and seen like her trouble was gone. I saw the real Hyunnie was back and not the Hyunnie that hide her true emotion behind her mask anymore. She was smiling out from the bottom of her heart.” Jiyoon say
So I wasn’t the only one who knows that Hyun was wearing a mask to hide her pain behind her masks.
“Look like you know something that I don’t know. I wouldn’t ask you to tell me. But if you really love Hyunnie do something about it. She was slow when come to this.” Jiyoon say
“How? I just can’t tell her that I love her directly right? We just become friends recently and open to me. I don’t want to lost her because I confess to her.” I say feeling helpless
“I will help you. Since me and oppa own you quite a lot.” Jiyoon say and patted my back.
“How you know that I love her?” I asked remember not telling anyone and not being obvious
“I saw the variety show. Weekly Idol and High Society. The face you how was like how oppa love me. People who know you well might able to see it too. It was quite obvious. Since you already start mention Hyunnie why not you start to mention more. Let Hyunnie get the hint and you can get to know your fans reaction. Hyunnie have many fans but haters too. If the comment receive wasn’t that good that mean you and her relationship have to hide it if one day both of you are together.” Jiyoon say
“And when a female is used to getting hurt, she won't know how it feels when a man starts to appreciate her, so she might ended up pushing you away. So you might need to work extra hard. If you can’t do that I will appreciate that you give up now. I don’t want Hyunnie getting hurt again and go through the pain.” Jiyoon say seriously
“I know, but she’s now hunting me that I always can only think of her. I don’t know how, but there was once when she was crying and I start hearing her calling for me and causes myself crying too. I want to confess to her yet I’m scare that our relationship might change when finally she willing to open up to me and tell me everything. I want to stay by her side even if she takes me as a friend.” I say. Yeah. Even she takes me just as her friend I don’t mind. I just to stay by her side and be there for her when she needs me. I just want her to be happy
“If that’s the case I will appreciate that you to forget you like her. You don’t have determination to make her yours. Like I say she been hurt by her ious relationship meaning for her to accept another relationship will be more difficult when she was hurt once. If she rejected you once meaning you going to give up and just remain her friend than make her yours, I will ask you to give up now and not letting Hyunnie know that you like her and you just move on to another girl.” Jiyoon say
“That’s not what I mean, I will not give up even after she rejected but I just don’t want her to felt pressure when she saw me. I will give her more space but I will still going after her.” I say. I understand what Jiyoon saying but I just can’t stop. I thought I have a crush on her but without knowing when I turn into loving her that even a message from her I was will smiling like an idiot.
“By the way, do you happen to know who Hyun ex-boyfriend was?” I asked looking at her
“Ani. But this was just my guessing.” Jiyoon say
