We caught a bus to our favourite cafe place. We weren't hungry,we just needed somewhere to sit and catch our breath, somewhere far, far away from that spooky classroom.

         "What really happened?"Zico wondered aloud, on his drink like a dying man in a desert. "The words on the whiteboard wrote by themselves," Ukwon panted. "Or something or someone invisible wrote them". He shot me a sheepish look. "Something weird is going on at our school".

         "But WHAT ?" I asked no one in particular.

         "Brainwashing,"Eyra said. "I think we were brainwashed. That's what happened!"

         "Eyra, we weren't brainwashed" I told her."What we saw was real! Those words were being written by a ghost. I Think Miss Wydre's tortured spirit was trying to tell us something. Maybe she's there on the other side of the whiteboard, trapped in another world, trying to communicate with us".

         "Maybe she wants to tell us how she died," offered Zico.

         "What if she wants us to know who killed her?" Ukwon took his friend's drink and slurped on it. "Maybe it was that caretaker. Maybe that's why he was hanging around up there".

          "Maybe the principal killed her," Eyra whispered to me. "It's happened before. Once, a ghost headmistress wanted to get her revenge on some kids because they saw her in an underground room in the science lab so she struck back at them while they were playing Maplestory, _____".

          Poor Eyra. Her ideas were getting freakier and freakier! But for once, Ukwon didn't make fun of her.

          "Well, there's only one way to find out what's really going on," he decided, getting to his feet and slamming a fist in his hand. "We have to go back to classroom 44. And next time, if the teacher's ghost writes on the board, we'll write a message back and ask her what she wants".
