It was my third trimester check up. And our baby was growing inside me. I could now feel

it, it's kicks and movements. The pain was sweet and lovely. Siwon, like a good person was

taking full care of me. The news of my pregnancy spread like wild fire everywhere. Our

families were the first to know and all tickets were already reserved for Seoul by my

friends and family. They had been with me through thick and thin. Our news channel was

doing good too. It had been the most watched show of all times.

 

Anyways, last time we had seen our baby was when it was only 2 weeks old. It was like a

small dot inside my tummy. Now it was huge and growing fast and we would see it again.

"Shreya...we are getting late. Quick."

 

"Yaa...I am coming."

 

I was trying and wearing a new dress Siwon had bought for me for my pregnant body. It looked

very sweet and nice from outside, but I was in a doubt whether it would fit me or not. I had

worn it, yes, but was scared of pulling it down, fearing that it would tear. I carefully pulled it

down my chest and then my tummy. And it was fine and looked really nice. His choice was

good.

 

Then I slwoy hobbled to the car. I had become so freaking fat. Siwon drove to the hospital then.

 

When we reached there, the doctor put some gel on my tummy and then ran the transducer

probe over it. Both Siwon and I were loking at the computer screen, for the images of the baby.

 

"That seems to be the blood clot that you have." The nurse told as she saw some sort of

obstruction coming in between the view of the baby. She then ran the probe to another

direction.

 

"There you go. That's your baby. It seems to have grown well."

 

Siwon's hand tightened around mine when the view of the baby came on the screen. Our little

Angel. I was elated to see it. It was like a doll, lying all cuddled up inside my tummy. It had

small hands and tiny little feet. And it was it's thumb.

 

"The heart beat is normal and other conditions to seem to be fine. It's breathing properly and it's

totally healthy. The tumor too has not been harmful. So at present there is nothing to worry

about. You need to come for further check- up ma'am."

 

I saw Siwon's eyes before leaving the room. His eyes were filled with tears, tears of love, joy

and fulfillment.

 

After my check-up was over, both of us were given the reports and the ultrasound images and

the video of our child.

 

We then went a restuarant, had lunch before going home.

 

When we were home, the first thing Siwon did was to open the envelope and look at our baby's

pictures.

 

"What do you think Shreya...?? It's a girl or a boy...??"

 

"What do you want?"

 

"I want a hmmm....a boy...?? maybe..??"

 

"I want a girl." I said.

 

"Hmm...it looks like me. See his jawline and also it's....

 

"Stop imagining Siwon-ah. It has not even entered the world and you already started

commenting."

 

"That's my little angel, angel it is...small and tiny angel....." He was singing, raming all around

the house, dancing like an idiot.

 

If someone was happy, it was my Siwon. He was at present at cloud nine. And I was happy

that at last our family was soon going to be complete.The pictures of

our little angel had filled the house with happiness and hope. Both of us now wanted it to

come to the world soon.
