Shreya POV

I was seeing stuff, I couldn't differentiate reality from my imaginations. I did not where I

was. I saw the car hit something, I held Siwon's hand. The car then went rolling down the

cliff. There was blood, more blood. My hands left Siwon's and then I hit something. I

don't know what I hit and pain...pain shot up my back.

 

"Ahhh..." I tried moving my fingers. My head was still paining, a dull pain in my back too.

I somehow flickered my eyes open. And then I relaized I had been dreaming. Wiat...where

was I...??

 

I turned my head, to see Siwon holding my hand and sleeping. He was on a wheel chair. I

looked around myself and then everyhting came back to me. I remembered the accident

we had in Bhutan. I had no idea how many days had passed since then. 

 

Suddenly I felt movement. Siwon opened his eyes. I smiled a weak smile looking at him.

He got up immediately.

 

"Shreya...you alright? Thank God you came back to your senses. Wait. Let me call the

doctor."

 

He went out my cabin and called for the doc. 

 

"Siwon-ah...how many days have gone by?"

 

"It's been 12 days you have been out. We are in Seoul Shreya, there is nothing to worry

about?"

 

"And what about...about the..."

 

Before I could complete my sentence, the doctor came. He immediately ordered the nurse

to take Siwon out of the room. But at that moment I wanted to be with him.

 

"Mrs Choi...you don't seem to be suffering from concussion and memory loss. That's

good news. Now let's check your condition."

 

He checked my arms, told me to move them. He checked my vitals, my heart rate, etc etc.

All were positive. I had difficulty in getting up though. He told me that I had injured my

spinal cord. That's when I tried moving my feet. But I felt nothing....

 

I tried my best again, using m full strength, clutching the bedsheet. But in vain. Tears

welled up in my eyes. Why the heck couldn't I move my limbs? Everything was fine until

now. What was wrong with me...??

 

"Doctor....doct..doctor... I can't..can't....why can't I move my feet?"

 

"Do you feel anything?" He said hitting my legs with a small hammer. Nothing, no

sensation at all. My legs were numb. I couldn't move my waist either. How much I tried to

lift myself up, so that I could sit. I could not move an inch.

 

"Sorry Mrs Shreya, but you are suffering from paralysis, waist under. You won't be able

to walk anymore. But we " The doctor said, holding my hand.

 

That was not possible, simply not possible. 

 

SIWON POV

"Mr. Choi I am sorry to say but your wife is suffereing from paralysis. But we are

 

checking whether it is temporary or permanent."

 

I was shocked. This could not happen to Shreya. Her dreams, her future, her life. Destiny

could not do this to her. Life wasn't being fair to her. I rode my wheelchair as fast I could.

At that point of time, I wanted to run to her and hug her right away.

 

 When I entered her room,  she was sitting there quietly. I went to her and hugged her

tightly. And that's when she started crying. She cried and wailed. I cried with her. 

 

"You need to be strong Shreya...we will fight it...we will go to through this together.

Control yourself." I told these words to her bravely, but I was weak inside myself.
