Flight of Time
Description
When everything is perfect, sometimes you might feel like time speeds up. The days get shorter, you might feel like even your hours of sleeps shorten as you struggle to spend all of your time with your beloved. At certain occasions, it might feel like the world stops, only to admire the beauty of your perfection.
And then, tragedy strikes. Maybe it takes months or even years to notice it yet it slowly creeps into your life, destroying it bits by bits until all you have are your friends and your lover by your side. Or maybe not even them... Who knows?
Foreword
A sickly pale boy sat on a small bed in a white room. The morning sun's rays slowly seeped into the room, illuminating every corner of it. Yet the boy didn't seem to care about it as he mechanically turned to the door that opened slowly, revealing a man in white.
A deep frown sat between his eyebrows as he walked to the boy. "Mr Kim, it seems like your condition had been getting worse."He said slowly, a look of pity in his eyes.
"I know."The boy answered, his voice soft yet confident."How long?"He asked as he looked out the window, his eyes following a couple of colorful butterflies as they flew freely.
"We can't be sure. Maybe a year, maybe less."The doctor said. He watched as his patient stood up slowly and ran a hand through his dull blonde hair that used to shine just a few months ago... Yet the shine was gone and so was the light from the boy's eyes.
AN: Okay, so this was supposed to be added like HOURS ago but apparently my friend made me ride the bus ('round forty mins + 10-30 mins walk) to her as she needed to choose some clothes out xD Whatever, yup, another angsty piece. I decided to enter this to RESTRICTED -- angst writing contest though I don't know if I'll finish in time *shrugs
