“Just so you know I went through years of therapy and it never made an impact on the decisions I’ve made in my life. I have no expectations of any difference being made now,” Sungmin said loftily as he crossed his arms and stared at the tall, Chinese looking man. He watched as the psychologist shifted in his seat, leaning forward the slightest bit to study him as if he could read his thoughts and see deep inside his mind. This was going to be just like any other psychological session he’d ever been through, one person thinks they can see inside his soul and figure out his problems.
Sungmin scoffed under his breath and narrowed his eyes as if offended at the very thought of it. He knew that it would never happen. He wouldn’t let it.
“That’s quite alright,” Zhou Mi answered him eventually, “I’m not here to change who you are or the way you think. If that’s what you want then it’s entirely up to you to make the decision to change that. My job is to help you understand the bottom reason why you commit the crimes that you did so you can live out the rest of your term here without questioning yourself.”
“No,” Sungmin cut in, leaning forward unintentionally as he suddenly found himself drawn into the conversation. “Don’t lie, that’s not true at all. If you helped anyone understand why they became monsters then they would live the rest of their lives in misery and self-hate!”

This guy, he seemed so sure of himself as if he were unbeatable but quite contrary, Zhou Mi found him almost too easy to read. He’d read through Lee Sungmin’s file when he was first renounced to the ward, it had taken several days to read the entire folder. Perhaps Sungmin suffered from sociopathic ways, but it was rather evident that change could be made; he just needed the right push and perhaps prison would suit him well. And by that, Zhou Mi had a distinct thought that Heechul and a few other inmates might just be that right push, if he played his cards right.
“Well then, Sungmin, this can go however you want it to. We can sit in here and talk about anything you’d like. If you want to smooth the bumps in your road so you can be sure of yourself while you’re here, we can figure that out. If you already know the reason behind your criminal actions, well that’s up to you whether or not you’d like to share. Either way you still have to come to sessions twice a week, that’s just basic routine. So, how would you like all this to go?” He stated in a professional manner, clasping his hands together politely as he looked across his desk with a dainty expression.
Sungmin stared at him confused, opening and closing his mouth at a loss for words. Just who was this guy? Something about him reminded Sungmin of Heechul, and it wasn’t that Zhou Mi was just as gorgeous if not more. No, it was the way he spoke, the lacing between the words that were
