The next few weeks went by slowly and each day was a new surprise. Heechul and Sungmin both learned infinite amounts of knowledge about each other, each holding these pieces of information dearly to each other. Neither of them would admit it out loud, but their friendship bond was growing quite quicker and deeper than either of them would have ever imagined. Still, while they now regarded each other as best friends, they still had their good and bad days. Good days consisted of messing around with the guards, stirring up drama between other inmates, and having heart to heart conversations with each other. Bad days were when Heechul was innocently attempt to advance on Sungmin and the latter, in turn, would return the favor by harming Heechul in very painful ways.

But through this, Heechul learned something about Sungmin that was shockingly disturbing at first but then made him laugh himself silly for a good three days. By now he knew good and well that Sungmin was just a normal – if not slightly insane – guy like himself, but the fact still remained and no matter how hard Sungmin would try to deny it, Sungmin had absolutely no experience with ual situations whatsoever. Because of this he was easily embarrassed, and much to Heechul’s amusement, Sungmin was a god damn prude.

Mornings were slow and the minutes dragged on. The shower room was filled with steam and nothing but a few murmurs from other inmates who could yet to form coherent sentences. It was too early for conversation and none of them wanted to be awake, but it was either sleep in an extra half hour and fight for the showers later and end up having to wait until the evening or get your up before anyone else could use up all the hot water. Personally, Sungmin was quite content with waiting until the evening to shower and to sleep in the extra thirty minutes, but Heechul – being the prissy diva he was – insisted they shower twice a day and thus dragged Sungmin to the shower room every morning.

“Heechul, I’m tired. Why do we have to do this?” Sungmin whined, standing under the shower head with his shoulders slumped. He didn’t bother actually washing himself, his limbs weren’t functioning yet, and quite frankly he really didn’t care because he was just going to be dragged back here tonight and he would wash properly then.

“Well, Min, when you sleep with as many men as I do, showers are a necessity. Don’t want to catch a disease, you know. Gotta keep myself clean,” Heechul answered cheerfully from the next stall. Sungmin was too tired to remind him that showering would do nothing to prevent him from getting an STD but it didn’t matter because Heechul slipped past the curtain and stepped into the shower with him, smiling widely. “And don’t say what you’re thinking; I know that made no sense.”

“Heechul, get out of my stall!” Sungmin shrieked, whirling around to huddle in the corner, protecting his privacy. Heechul made a noise of appreciation and Sungmin quickly covered his tush with his hand.
