AUTHOR’S POV

 

Sunny looked at the clock “4:42 pm”

 

“Taeyeon-ah...”  a very nervous Sunny promptly sits down and folds her legs in front of Taeyeon who was busy flickering through the TV channels. 

 

Sunny sat closer to Taeyeon and called her name out again “Taeyeon-ah, there is something I want to ask you..”

 

Taeyeon smiled at Sunny  “Hmm?”

 

“I..I.. Wii..” Sunny couldn’t say what she wanted to say even though was hanging open

 

“Aishhhhh~~ Sunny, this is your chance… TaeTae is looking at you.”

 

“Taeyeon-ah, what is it you want to ask?” Sunny smiling at Taeyeon

 

Sunny took a deep breath and held Taeyeons’ hand.

 

“Wi…” hesitated on the question “Can you be mine Taeyeon ~ah?”

 

Taeyeon looked at Sunny with a shocked and happy expression unable to respond to the question

 

“If somebody asks me why I am happy, I want you to be the reason I give Taeyeon-ah. In this lifetime, I am already lucky to find you.” Sunny caresses Taeyeons’ hair and holds her face with both hands “So TaeTae, Can you be mine?”

 

Taeyeon sits and moves closer to Sunny.

 

“I wouldn’t know what I would do if you weren’t beside me Sunny-ah” smiles at Sunny

 

Sunny extremely happy and excited moving her hands as if she won a big prize “Really?! Really?! Is that a yes? Taetae! Is that a big yes?!?!”

 

“~Ne” Taeyeon smiles as she says that one word that would answer Sunnys’ question

 

“TaeTae~ “ as Sunny spreads her arms for a big hug.

 

As Taeyeon lunges for a hug they bopped each other on the head and both went flat on the big white bed they were on.

 

Both were laughing, embarrassed Taeyeon snorts while laughing and Sunny laughing with her hand on her head.

 

 

They were both facing each other and Sunny slowly moves in closer to Taeyeons’ face.

 

Sunny was looking at her TaeTae’s face thinking “Oh God, this girl is so beautiful. She looks like an angel. Her skin is so soft. I really love her hair with the pink ends. She gives out that laugh I love so much even. Oh my Taetae is such a dork… but she is my dork”

 

Taeyeon smiles at her bunny who is smiling awkwardly due to her thoughts “YAH! Why are you smiling like a weirdo bunny-ah!” then moves closer to Sunny and combs her short blonde hair with her fingers while giggling.

 

 Sleepy Taeyeon closes her eyes and snuggles under Sunnys’ arms “Sunny-ah, I’m hungry. Cook something for me shortie~”

 

Sunny giggled and slowly got out of the bed. She set the alarm on her phone and kisses Taeyeon on the forehead before heading to the kitchen.

 

Taeyeon is awoken by a very irritating alarm that consisted of Sunny and her aegyo

 

“Taeyeon-ahhhhh, wake up.. “baby sounds” WAKE-UP *aegyovoice*”

 

Taeyeon gruntled and immediately looked for Sunny phone before the aegyo alarm becomes louder “AISHH!!” then finds Sunnys’ phone and turns the alarm off.

 

She hears Sunny cooking in the kitchen and gets up from bed to help Sunny with her cooking.

 

She suddenly gave Sunny a back hug “MMMM, smells good shortie”

 

“Set the table up TaeTae” while doing her aegyo voice.

 

“Aishh~ That voice *giggling* it’s irritating”

 

Taeyeon started putting plates and utensils on the table. Sunny just finished her cooking and quickly grabbed the orange juice and hot rice from the counter and headed for the table.

 

After they had their dinner Sunny decided to do something that she learned from a friend back in Gyeonggi.

 

She pulled Taeyeon to the living room and signaled her to sit and stay on the coach.

 

TAEYEON’S POV

 I saw Sunny opening the drawers. She pulled out two pens a thick memo pad and a rabbit shaped coin bank  and sits beside me with an excited face.

 

“Taeyeon-ah, I learned this from a chingu back in Gyeonggi. We will write our memories now and dreams for each other”

 

Sunny handed me a pen and cut the memo pad into equal parts. I started writing on the paper.

 

“YAH! Sunny-ah.. Can I see yours?”

 

“NO. It works like a time capsule Taeyeon-ah. We would look at it after 5 years”

 

“How are you sure that we would would last long?” I chuckled

 

I saw the hint of sadness in my bunny’s eyes as I asked that question. She sighed. I sat closer to her and held her face with both hands and she smiled but she looked away and started to write on a piece of paper she folded it and looked at me and pretended to not notice the question. I felt a bit bad for asking that question even though I didn’t mean it to be offensive. I was only teasing her. I started to write on the piece of paper.

 

 

	“I see us happy my Sunny. I see that handsome smile you have. I touch your face and I never feel lonely because you make me complete. Don’t be sad my shortie.”

 

 

 

 “You put the paper inside here Taeyeon-ah, then later we bury it then we make a promise to dig it up after 5 years”

 

I folded and dropped the first paper and I continued writing more thoughts and dreams for me and my Sunny.

 

SUNNY’S POV

 

I started to get the pens and the thick memo pad I never got to use. I’m feeling good about this for some reason thinking that we have to wait five years before we could see what we both wrote for each other. I sat down on the coach and tore the memo pad into two equal parts and started writing.

 

	Taeyeon-ah! You’re a dorky ajhumma now but I love you to bits. You still have the sweet nature to you and I hope when you see this, you would realize that I was right about you stiil being a dorky ajhumma and that I love you to bits
	I love you Taeyeon. I wish that you and I will be as strong as bamboos. We only bend on the strong challenges in life and not break and fall.

 

 

Taeyeon started to disturb me and wanted to see what I wrote. I told her that we would look at it after 5 years of being together.

 

“How are you sure that we would would last long?” she said in a teasing manner

 

I remained silent after hearing that. I felt a sharp feeling in the chest and sighed instead of confronting with Taeyeon. She huddled closer and locked my face with both hands. I smiled at her but I still felt bad about what she said so I looked away. I thought of writing what I felt that moment on a piece of paper.

 

	Taeyeon-ah, the first time I saw you I already knew how big you will be in my life. It’s crazy to say that we would last long but I know we would last.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I showed Taeyeon the purpose of the Rabbit shaped coin bank. I placed three of the folded paper I had and Taeyeon just finished her first one. Im beginning to think that this is all so cheesy but I just wanted to treasure the expectations we both had for our relationship now that we stepped on to a new level.

TAEYEON'S POV

		Sunny-ah is handsome with short blonde hair. I love and hate her aegyo at the same time. I wish you won’t change. I love you Sunny-ah
	I will be your dorky princess. Hahaha! I will always love the food you cook. I wish you’d be faithful to me Sunny-ah. Your so handsome that other girls fall for you. Don’t ever cheat!

 

                                                                                                                                                

I met you in the Coffee shop. My bag fell when it got snatched on a chair and there you were Sunny. You knelt down to help me and told me to calm down.

 

I wrote a lot of dorky and cheesy lines on the paper. I didn’t realize that I was smiling like an idiot and when I looked at Sunny she gave out a laugh and told me that I looked like a ert with all the weird smiling while writing on the piece of paper.                                                                                                                                                                 

 

 

	You gave me an expresso with a cute sun design and wrote on the table napkin that was beside it. “ Don’t frown now. It’s a Sunny day ”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I started writing on how we both met 6 months ago and how sweet she was. She was a barista in a café that her chingu owned. I smiled when I looked at Sunny who was still writing because I loved how 6 months had passed and she was still infront of me. I put down the pen and paper on the table, folded my legs and faced Sunny.

 

 

“Yah.. Why me?”

 

Sunny faced me and smiled “Why not? I have no reason why not to choose you? Right?”

 

 

“A lot of prettier girls like you and you choose me who is dorky. There must be a reason”

 

 

“Because you’re not afraid to be who you are Taeyeon-ah. You’re dorky? So what? Your dorkiness is what makes my TaeTae. Okay?”

 

 

“I’m sorry about earlier, Sunny-ah” I looked at Sunny who had a curious face “Oh come on, don’t pretend that you don’t know what I am talking about”

 

 

“I really don’t know TaeTae. What is it?”

 

 

“When I said..~ How are you sure that we would would last long?”

 

SUNNY’S POV

 

Taeyeon was saying sorry about what she said. I felt a bit of a relief that she said sorry because I thought she wouldn’t be sensitive.

 

“It’s okay Taeyeon-ah. I love you. Arasso? Don’t be feel bad. I wouldn’t judge you for thinking that way since we are just beginning to enter this relationship”

 

“Still Sunny-ah, im sorry. I saw your expression and I felt bad and I’m..” I put my fingers on her lips for her to stop

 

 

“I said it’s alright Taeyeon-ah. Come on! Lets fold the rest of our paper and put it inside the time capsule. Smile now hun”

 

 I can’t believe I said hun to TaeTae. She looked at me shocked to hear me say hun and gave out a soft giggle. We placed all of our memories and dreams inside the time capsule.

 

TAEYEON'S POV

 

"OMO! Sunny-ah! Where will we bury this?" 

 

"In the park TaeTae, there is a tree there that blooms flower every five years. It has bloomed now so I think when it blooms again that's is when we can dig it up again. It is the only tree in the park that has that kind of flower" 

 

"The park near the cafe?" 

 

Sunny nodded and went to the room to to get our jackets and wore her favorite bonnet. We were going to walk to the park about a block from our apartment. I held her arm and she took the rabbit capsule and stuck it on the other arm as we rode the elevator down to the lobby. 

 

"Sunny-ah, after we bury this what will we do next?" 

 

Sunny kisses my forehead. She then puts her lips close to my ears and whispered "Then we start our life together Taeyeon"
