Almost four months after Shin Hye’s birthday celebration and nothing still changed on the status of her relationship with Yong Hwa.

They act as if nothing happened during her birthday celebration.

He didn’t ask her if she read his message or about the hug he saw between her and Jong Hyun.

She didn’t say anything about his birthday message and act like how they are from the start.

Friends and colleagues who are all present during the birthday celebration keep on asking both of them but they never say anything.

In the office, Eun Hye is still a snob towards her but she didn’t dare to do evil things again on her. She doesn’t want to lose her job as she received a warning from HR for not informing Shin Hye about the policy on celebrating Valentine’s Day in the office.

In two days time, Yong Hwa will be celebrating his birthday. People in the office are all talking about it.

Jae Jin: Do you think CEO Jung will have a birthday celebration this year?

Min Hwan: Yah! Why are you still asking that? We all know that he never celebrated his birthday.

Jae Jin: I know. I’m just thinking maybe this year it will be different.

Bom: (Who heard their conversation join them) And what makes you think that he would want to celebrate it this year?

Jae Jin: Well… (He looked at where Shin Hye is seated)

Bom: (She looked at where he is looking and smile) You think so?

Jae Jin: Deh Noona!

Min Hwan: Noona, don’t listen to him. He is just making up things. You know how he loves to party.

The two continue to bicker like Tom and Jerry.

During lunch time, Bom open up with Dara and Jiyong about her conversation with Jae Jin.

Bom: What do you think about it?

Dara: I’m not sure Bom. How about you Babe? You seem to know what CEO Jung think. Remember during Shin Hye’s birthday.

Jiyong: Well… With that aspect, I’m not also sure Babe.

Dara: Why?

Jiyong: Because I don’t really know the reason why he doesn’t like to celebrate his birthday. Does it have something to do with his dead wife?

Bom: If I remember it right, even when his wife was still alive he never celebrated his birthday too.

Jiyong: Then we can’t say that now that Shin Hye is here he’ll celebrate it again.

Dara: Shin Hye? What does it has to do with her?

Bom: Yah Dara! After her birthday party, don’t you still get it that CEO Jung likes her.

Dara: Oh yeah! Sorry. So it means no reason to celebrate it. The death of his wife is not the reason why he’s not celebrating his birthdays.

The next day, the birthday of CEO Jung is still the topic of Jae Jin and Min Hwan. They stop from their conversation when they heard what Shin Hye said to Manager Lee.

Shin Hye: Manager Lee…

Min Jung: Shin Hye-ah, how many times do I have to remind you that you can just call me Min Jung Eonni like what the rest of the younger girls here calls me.

Shin Hye: I’m sorry Eonni.

Min Jung: It’s ok Shin Hye. Is there anything you need from me?

Shin Hye: Eonni, I just want to ask if you have anything else for me to submit by the end of this week.

Min Jung: None for me. (To Jiyong) How about you Jiyong?

Jiyong: I have one report pending Noona. (Look at Shin Hye) But it’s ok. You can just give it to me next week.

Shin Hye: Thanks Oppa.

Dara: Shin Hye-ah, are you going somewhere? Why are you asking about your scheduled work?

Shin Hye: Yes Eonni. I’m taking leaving tomorrow and will only be back on Monday.

Bom: Why?

Shin Hye: Tomorrow is a special day for my family. I make it a point that I am with them during this time.

Shin Hye's POV: A very special day that I only realized few months ago.

Bom: Oh! I understand now.

Shin Hye: (To Manager Lee) Eonni, can I go now? I’m planning to leave early too today. Jung Shin and I are leaving for Busan tonight. I still have to pack my things and inform Semi on the things she needs to do for So Won.

Min Jung: Yes you can Shin Hye. Since, it’s already 4PM and you’ve done all your work.

Shin Hye: Thanks Eonni.

She fixed her things and said goodbyes to the rest of her team mates. She then go to Juniel.

Meanwhile,

Jae Jin: Noona, said that tomorrow is a special day for their family.

Min Hwan: We heard that too. So, what are you implying again?

Jae Jin: I’m just thinking if there’s a connection on that special event in Noona’s life with CEO Jung.

Min Hwan: What? How can that be? It’s only recently that Noona came to the Jung.

The others join their conversation.

Bom: I think I understand what Jae Jin is trying to say.

Dara: What do you mean?

Bom: Remember that night during the birthday celebration of Shin Hye. Do you still remember what CEO Jung’s parents birthday wishes for Shin Hye?

Jae Jin: CEO Jung’s father mentioned about her being alive and giving them happiness twice.

Dara: I think Mrs. Jung said something about losing someone and then because of her they managed to overcome it. Also for making So Won happy.

Jiyong: You forgot the most important things Babe.

Dara: Did I? What?

Bom: Again?

Jae Jin: So it means that they’ve met her even before.

Min Hwan: Look what you’ve done Jae Jin. Now, we are all thinking on what’s with tomorrow's date with CEO Jung and Shin Hye Noona.

Jae Jin: I didn’t ask you to think about it. I’m just really curious.

Bom: Yah! You both stop that now. She’s about come here now and I think Director Kang and CEO Jung are coming out of his office too.

Gary: Shin Hye-ah, are you leaving now?

Shin Hye: Yes, Oppa.

Yong Hwa: Leaving? (He looked at Shin Hye)

Shin Hye: CEO Jung, I’m taking leave tomorrow.

Yong Hwa: Why?

Shin Hye: I’m going back to Busan.

Yong Hwa: What? Who approved your leave?

Gary: I did.

Yong Hwa: Why didn’t you tell me?

Gary: Yong Hwa-ah, I know you are the CEO but I don’t remember that I need to inform you about the approval of leave from my team.

Gary smile as he knows why he is asking like that. Juniel on the other hand can’t hide her smile too.

Yong Hwa’s POV: Why is she taking leave tomorrow? Of all the days, why tomorrow? I need to do something to stop her from leaving.

Shin Hye: I should be leaving now. I’ll see you all again on Monday.
