Park Shin Hye a third year accounting student of Seoul University dreamt of being an accountant and pass the board exam. But her dream doesn’t end with that. She wants to be a CPA Lawyer too. Big dreams that she believe is possible to achieve with hard work and perseverance.

But why is it life doesn’t seem fair to her?   Start of Flashback>>>     June 2011   Shin Hye has been a working student and scholar since high school. Her parents don’t spend any money for her studies. They would want to help but Shin Hye would always refused. When she reached her second year in college, her parents noticed that she’s having difficulty balancing her schedule because of her part time jobs as a school assistant, part time crew on a nearby coffee shop and restaurant. That’s when they decided to do something.   Mr. Park (Shin Yang): Shin Hye-ah, our business is doing well and we're earning enough money now to pay for our daily expenses and have extra for your studies too. I think you can stop with your part time jobs and focus on your studies.   Shin Hye: Appa, I’m still ok. You can use the extra money to expand your business.    Mrs. Park (Jung Eun): Shin Hye, your Appa is right. You have to think of your health. What’s the importance of your degree if you are not healthy? (She was teary-eyed)   Shin Hye: Umma… (She understand why her mother is feeling that way)   Mr. Park (Shin Yang): Shin Hye… I know you understand your Umma.   Shin Hye: De Appa. (Hold each hand of her parents) Umma, Appa, so you won’t worry of me. I will resign from my job at the restaurant.   Her parents smile.   Shin Hye: But… please let me continue my part time job at the coffee shop and my work as a student assistant.   Mrs. Park (Jung Eun): Why?   Shin Hye: My work there is something I will do in the future. I’m working as a student assistant at the school’s finance department. It’s like working and training at the same time for me.   Mrs. Park (Jung Eun): But how about your part time job at the coffee shop?   Shin Hye: Working there is not only work for me. That's the place where I don't consider myself working. My friends are there.   Mr. Park (Shin Yang): (To Mrs. Park) I think yeobo that’s fine. (To Shin Hye) Just make sure that you come home on time so you can rest. I know you are a strong woman but you do know that there’s something you are not strong with. (Pointing at her heart)   Shin Hye: De appa. (She hugs them)   End of Flashback<<<   June 2012   She taught everything would go smoothly. But only a year after she resigned from her part time job, something happen again.   She was in the middle of preparing the sales report for the school canteen when she received a call.   Shin Hye: Yoboseyo?   Park’s Neighbor: Shin Hye-ah, this is ahjumma.   Shin Hye: Ahjumma? Wae-yo?   Park’s Neighbor: Please come to Hong Clinic. Your umma…   Shin Hye: Umma? What happened to my umma?   Park’s Neighbor: I’m not sure. I just saw Jung Eun in your kitchen lying on the floor. I don’t know Shin Yang’s number. So I call you instead since my daughter knew the number of your school.   Shin Hye: Kamsahamnida Ahjumma. I’m coming now.   After she ended the call, she immediately went to her supervisor and asked for permission. They understand that it is an emergency so they give her permission to leave early. Before going to the clinic, she called her father and informed her of the situation.   When she reached the clinic, her father was already there. His father’s office is nearer to their home as compare to her school.   Shin Hye: Appa, what happened to Umma?   Mr. Park (Shin Yang): The doctor said it has something to do with her heart. They are advising us to transfer your Umma to the hospital. I already signed the necessary papers and we will soon be leaving to transfer her to the hospital.   Shin Hye: Appa… (She wanted to be strong for his father but she can’t hide her tears anymore)   Mr. Park (Shin Yang): We will surpass this Shin Hye. We’ve done it before.   Mrs. Park was transferred to Seoul Hospital. They did all the testings to see the status or extent of the cause of her heart problem. The Park father and daughter were both outside the emergency room waiting for the doctor’s advice. Mr. Park reminisced all the things that happened in the same hospital years ago. Mr. Park (Shin Yang)’s POV: Why does it have to happen again? Is this the price I have to pay for the decisions I've made in the past? Start of Flashback>>>   February 18, 1989   The happiness on Jung Eun and Shin Yang’s faces can’t be exchange to any amount of money when they found out that they are having their babies. Yes, babies. Jung Eun is expecting to give birth to their first born which according to the ultra sound were triplets. It means the Parks are having three babies.   Since, it is not safe for Jung Eun to go on normal delivery of the babies due to heart problem she will go on caesarian delivery instead. They decided to have it on 18th of February, the date when they first met.   Jung Eun safely delivered the triplets, two girls and one boy. They named them Min Young, Shin Hye and Jung Shin. Shin Yang who worries the health of his wife felt relieved when the doctor informed him that Jung Eun is perfectly fine. As for the babies, they still have to do some baby screening to make sure that they are perfectly fine before they leave the hospital.   Two days later Jung Eun and Shin Yang received the result of the baby screening done with the triplets.   Dr. Song: Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Park.   Jung Eun/Shin Yang: Good morning Dr. Song.   Dr. Song: I’m happy to tell you that baby Jung Shin and baby Min Young are both perfectly fine.   Mr. Park (Shin Yang): That’s good to hear Dr. Song.   Mrs. Park (Jung Eun): How about Shin Hye?   Dr. Song: (His facial expression change) About baby Shin Hye…
