Chapter 9

“Samuel Carter!” Hyerin hissed between clenched teeth, her heartbeat hammering against her ribcage. The proximity of her husband was overwhelming her senses; his hot breath fanned across the nape of her neck to caress her collarbone and her nose was close enough to detect the cologne he wore. It was intoxicating; masculine with the sinful notes of seduction woven through the smell.

“Hm?” Sam murmured, nuzzling his nose into her sweet smelling hair; the soft tresses tickled his nose and rubbed against the stubble that covered his jaw. He was reluctant to let go but he heard the camera crew begin to get closer so he stepped away to give Hyerin a quick breather before being faced with the camera again. Her face was flushed and he could tell that her thoughts weren’t exactly on the purest of scenarios. He smirked to himself and mentally patted himself on the back. Teasing his little wife was the highlight of his day.

“It’s sort of late, so we’ll be heading to our hotel. Can you guys handle dinner by yourselves? We need to get back to our rooms and finish setting up the equipment,” The head cameraman hefted the heavy filming device in his hands while staring at the young couple. He had an inkling thought that something had transpired while the crew had been filming the details of the spacious hut but he chose not to voice his question.

Hyerin nodded, tucking her hair behind her ear in an attempt to look sheepish. “The refrigerator is stocked full of food, so I think we’ll be okay on our own. You’re welcome to take some food if the hotel doesn’t provide you with anything.”

The cameraman shook his head. “The show paid for our living accommodations here and has made sure that we get food delivered to our rooms at meal times. Thank you for offering though,” He bowed his head and held the door open to allow the rest of the filming crew to file out as the carried their respective equipments.

“Have a good night!” Sam bowed to the crew and waved, watching as they went down the stairs and walked along the deck that led to the mainland. The soft sound of the crystal clear waters lapping below them filled the ually tense atmosphere. He turned, watching as Hyerin disappeared into the bedroom. He followed, stepping into the doorway just in time to see her reach up and pull a spying device from the back on the headboard.

“They should really try to find better hiding spots. Or they just need to stop trying to do this,” She states irately, going around the room and taking off the listening devices as she came across them. Sam stared at her in awe, his mind not comprehending the fact that his wife was flat out taking the devices the camera crew had placed in moments before.

“What? You honestly thought that we’d be left alone by ourselves on our ‘honeymoon’?” She faced him, her hands on her hips and the small pile of spying devices on the bed. Sam closed his mouth, his eyes swirling with confusion.

“I’m the daughter of an ex-Special Forces commander. I know a lot of things that a girl my age shouldn’t know.” Hyerin states nonchalantly, collecting the devices and tossing them into the closet, covering them in towels so that they would still appear to be in a dark hiding spot but any and all sounds would be muffled.

“I can see that,” Sam mused, coming over and tried to wrap his arms around her. Hyerin squirmed away from him and turned to look up at him, her neck craned back so she could meet his eyes.

“What is up with you? You’ve been so touchy-feely lately!” She huffed, crossing her arms and staring at him crossly. He was slightly hurt that she wasn’t returning his affections quite as eagerly as she had been, but nonetheless he knew that he was going to face this at some point.

“I can’t not touch you. It’s something I can’t really explain but something makes me want to be with you all the time. I want to hold you and never even have to think about letting you go and I-“

“Oh, cut the bull, Sam. Seriously. Tell me what’s up. Are you ?” Sam was taken aback at how blunt she’d been with the use of the word. Of course he would be, but that was just a natural trait because he was a guy. But still, she cut him off in the middle of his speech. There goes his attempt at being a romantic.

“Koreans are so prudish sometimes. I’m not afraid to openly speak about ; it isn’t looked down upon in Europe. You are a 25 year old male from the UK. You can’t honestly be trying to convince me that you aren’t totally driven by your ual urges at this point, are you?” Hyerin sighed, coming closer to take his hand and lead him to sit on the comfortable emperor sized bed. The comforter and duvet sank into the mattress under their combined weight. Sam chewed at his bottom lip, questioning whether or not he should answer truthfully, in which case she would be completely correct.

“ isn’t looked down upon in Europe. Hell, if celebrities kiss over in Korea, it’s like the newest gossip. In Europe, kissing isn’t anything. It’s the that catches the attention of the public.” Hyerin stated, raising an eyebrow at her husband. He seemed awfully quiet since she’d practically caught him red handed.

“Just admit to it, babe. You’re . And that is completely understandable. You can’t be 25 and a , right?” She asked, completely serious. She was going to be a little shocked if he said that he was a given the amount of playfulness he’d been exuding whenever alone with her.

“No, but it’s definitely been too many years since I’ve lost it,” He sighed, lying back on the bed. Hyerin giggled softly, tracing the pattern of his plaid shirt with a finger.

“If I’d known you and we were both single and not stars, I would be banging you every second of the day, regardless of the year gap.” Hyerin stated nonchalantly. Sam raised his head from the pillow to stare at her incredulously. She’d practically just admitted to the fact that she was ually attracted to him.

“Seriously?” He made to sit up but she merely pushed him back down with her hand.

“You look so hot just laid out on the bed like you are,” She said, laughing softly. “You might be five years older than me, but I would have been willing to warm your bed any day if I’d known you before this show and before we became singers.”

“So you find me attractive?” He forcibly pushed himself into a seated position, taking her hand and rubbing his calloused thumb across the back of her knuckles.

“Have you looked at yourself lately? You have permanent hair and your eyes are always this smoldering and heated.” She stated, rising from the bed and walking to the luggage the team had brought in before they’d arrived. A frown graced Sam’s lips as he watched her leave him on the bed; he was hoping to at least get halfway to second base during this trip. If she kept avoiding him, it would never happen.

“I’m taking a bath. Being cooped up in that plane makes me feel gross,” She bent down to her bag and Sam found himself admiring her mile long legs, watching the sunlight from the open window bathe her tan skin in a silky, bronze glow.

“And don’t even think about joining me; its way too early in this show for that to happen,” She strode away from him through the archway that led to the open and spacious master bathroom. The bathroom had a gorgeous coconut bowl designed tub as the centerpiece; the dark woods blending in seamlessly with the rest of the interior. Off to the left was the shower and an enormous closet while off to the right was the toilet, a urinal, and the two sinks which were all separated by their own sections of partition and doors where needed.

Sam could see the tub from his position on the bed, granted that the hut didn’t necessarily have ‘doors’ per se. Any openings were simply just that; openings, or rather, archways, that fit in beautifully with the hut itself.

Hyerin walked to the tub, running a dainty hand along the edge admiringly. The tub was made of dark, heavy wood and was lined with granite; it had to weigh an easy two tons. She turned the handle and the water gushed out from the artfully crafted faucet, made to look like a pair of seahorses while spouting a twin jet of steamy water. She added a generous amount of soap from the selection and basked in the aroma of sandalwood and vanilla; the exotic scent only added the final detail of what was about to become the greatest bath of her life.

Right as she was about to start peeling her wrinkled clothes off, she cast a knowing look at Sam, her eyebrow cocked slightly.

“Mind being a bit of a modest husband just until I get into the water?”

Sam smiled and chuckled softly, shaking his head at how nonchalant she sounded. Nonetheless, he turned his head and looked out the enormous bay window, admiring the view of the crystal clear waters and the mainland, which wasn’t too far off. The gentle sound of water lapping at the edge of the tub gained his attention and he found his wife already in the steaming water, her clothes folded neatly on the counter adjacent to the tub. She wasn’t looking at him and was instead facing the bifold doors that opened into yet another incredible view of the ocean from the bathroom.

Sam leaned back against the headboard, his mind racing on how exactly he would be able to get back into her good graces when his eyes landed on the stack of clothes and the fluffy towel sitting next to them. A very bad idea was slowly formulating in his devious mind and he slid off the bed, sauntering through the arch that led to the bathroom. His bare feet barely made a noise on the tiled floors, but he knew that she knew that he was in the bathroom with her.

With two quick steps he was at the counter and in the next few seconds, with her clothes bundles under his arm, he was back on the bed, his hands behind his head and he crossed his long legs. In the few seconds that it had taken him to deliver his plan, Hyerin had turned around in the tub, the bubbles foaming up around her to cloud everything from his view, and glared at him dangerously. Her green eyes had narrowed into vicious slits and the anger in them was unmistakable.

“Samuel Carter. Bring me my clothes.

“What’s the fun in that, princess?” Sam smirked cockily, flicking his blonde strands away from his face. He glanced over at the pile of clothes he’d stolen and picked up the lacy emerald green bra.

“Green is a good color. It’ll match your eyes,” He met her angered gaze. Internally, he wasn’t quite sure where the sudden cockiness had comes from but he wasn’t going to shy away from it, especially after she’d said that he was attractive.

So, actually, this could just be a really point on his self esteem and ego chart. But he would rather it be the cockiness.

He got off the bed and sauntered over to the chair that was sitting at the vanity, pulling it out and sitting down, crossing his legs and staring at Hyerin darkly.

“I’m serious, Sam. Bring me my clothes.”

Sam leaned back in his seat and raised an eyebrow at her.

“Do you honestly think I will?” Sam asked, watching amusedly as Hyerin adjusted herself in the water, sinking lower so that the bubbles could still cover her up.

“I don’t, actually. But I can still hope that the ultimatum of something could get you to at least bring me something.” She glared at him, using her arm to bring the bubbles closer to her.

“And what kind of ultimatum are we talking about?” Sam leaned forward, close enough that she could potentially slap the living daylights out of him. He smirked when she made no move to physically harm him. He didn’t have a doubt in the world that her father had taught her something in the name of self defense.

“Bring me something to wear, first.”

Sam sighed but resolutely got up and walked to the bedroom, heading for the pile of clothes that was sitting on the bed. He passed by the open suitcase before pausing and backtracking. He smirked to himself before stooping down and picking up the item before stepping back into the steamy bathroom.

He bent down and dropped off a pair of Jimmy Choo Stilettos at the base of the tub. He crossed his legs again and leaned back in his chair.

“Seriously, Sam? I’m not even privileged to get a towel?” Hyerin voiced, staring at her six inch heels with a look of disgust. The shoes were meant for a formal dinner that they were supposed to be having at some point during this trip, not as something to wear after she finished taking a bath.

Sam chuckled throatily, his hazel eyes darkened with desire.

“I don’t care about your ultimatum. It’s your choice, princess.”

The End!

I was watching some Lunafly videos and listening to Sam’s radio and couldn’t help but get this vibe that he would be the cockiest guy in the world if you called him attractive. Anyways, that was my own opinion.

Omo, what will Hyerin do? Will she take a challenge or will she have to devise something else to get away from her husband?

Stay tuned guys! Read and Review!

P.S: I’m looking for a beta. It’d be great if one of you guys volunteered. And my AP classes are coming down on me viciously. So if I don’t update, I’m sorry. I’ll try to do so weekly if not twice a month or so.

Chapter 11: So glad you updated! I really enjoy this story - the only Lunafly story I'm reading. I love the Fiji location. You write very well. I have hopes they will take on their management companies and actually date. A trip to England to meet Sam's parents could be cool, too. Maybe WGM would include that in the show.

Chapter 11: Please update more.
I really your writing style. Its chic but very real.I want more intimate scenes with the couple. Obviously there's chemistry so I wonder if they're just gonna stay on this level or want to date each other. I would also like it if Sam played the guitar

Chapter 10: Awwww, Sam is being a gentlemen, that's how it should be! I like the chemistry a lot between to two because she's not simply following him like a puppy and he's not controlling what she does.

Chapter 9: What a fun chapter! And I love the pictures. What a beautiful place. The bit with the shoes was perfect! I like that Hyorin is so matter-of-fact with Sam, on the other hand I am hoping if they do have there's some romance and real feelings there because you've convinced me up to this point that they're there. Since she's said if they weren't celebrities she'd be jumping his frame, I want to hear what she thinks is possible since they are celebrities. Thanks so much for updating. Good luck with your classes. I'd offer to beta, but I'm barely finding time to write on my own fic.
