Chapter 8

We Got Married? [Lunafly Edition]

Thanks so much for the reviews guys! Classes are tough but I’m trying my best to get these updates as regularly as possible! Bear with me if I don’t upload every week; it just means I’m drowning in school work.

Read and Review, my lovelies.

Chapter 8

“Fiji? Where exactly is that?”  Hyerin stood in front of Sam, her enormous rolling bag situated next to her. Compared to her tiny stature, the bag seemed almost too big, but then again, she was female and there is no bag that is too big by female standards.

“Roughly more than a thousand miles off the New Zealand coast; that’s what my manager said,” Sam answered, leaning around his wife to grab the handle of her bag. He grunted softly as he lifted it off the ground to load into the shiny, navy blue Hyundai Tucson he’d rented. He’d had his driver’s license while in the UK but hadn’t since touched a car after his arrival into Korea. He was thankful to drive any car, seeing as it’s been more than a year since he’d driven anything, let alone a brand new 2013 version.

“A 1000 miles off the coast of New Zealand isn’t a very definite answer, Sam.” Hyerin sighed, annoyed slightly that her manager hadn’t said a thing about the location of her and her husband’s honeymoon.

She shivered involuntarily at the way the word resounded in her mind. Honeymoon. The word implied newlywed couples exploring the sweet pleasures of their partner after saying their vows yet Hyerin was thinking anything but sweet thoughts of her husband. In fact, her thoughts were going the completely opposite direction of the word sweet and were more along the lines of naughtier scenarios.

“I’m about as clueless as you, love. We’re not allowed to look it up either, so I guess we just hop on our plane and go see for ourselves,” Sam answered, walking over to the passenger side and, being the gentleman his parents raised him to be, graciously opened the door for Hyerin.

(With the Commentators)

“Oh! Look! He’s opening the door for her! He’s so sweet!” Park Mi Sun was pointing at the large screen, her hand covering her heart. It’d been a while since she’d seen such mannerisms on the show and she was glad that they still existed to begin with.

“You’re supposed to open the door for your wife. It’s only reinforced over there in Europe,” Danny was leaning back in the plush chair, his legs crossed as he observed the couple.

“I don’t see you opening the door for anyone,” Mi Sun retorted jokingly, her eyes still glued on the screen as the road trip to the airport began with Sam as the driver. Danny scoffed slightly.

“You don’t that much in Korea and you know it.” He replied, shaking his head slightly. It was so strange how the custom of opening the door for other people as a common courtesy was looked down upon in Korea. (A/N: This is very true guys. I learned this the hard way over the summer.)

“And I’m not even sure why it’s looked down upon,” Mi Sun hummed to herself, allowing her full attention to return to the screen where the couple was chatting casually.

(Back with Sam and Rin)

“Are you excited?” Hyerin had her legs crossed and her summer wedges were off her feet. The ride to the airport would take another thirty minutes or so and the flight would be long. The flight from Seoul to Suva, the capital of the largest island, would take roughly ten and a half hours. Hyerin hadn’t been on such a long flight since her trip back home in Naples. The flight from Incheon to Naples was twenty hours, nearly double of what they would be doing today.

“Actually, I am. You don’t really go to the beaches in the UK very often, for obvious reasons, so the only real times I get to the beach would be the summer time in Korea, where it’s packed with people, or when I go to the States, which isn’t very often.” Sam answered, switching lanes and pressing down on the accelerator. The car surged under his command effortlessly, speeding by the many taxi drivers that were also carting people to the airport to be flown out to various places in the world.

“You don’t go to the beach very often? God, when I lived in Italy, I would be at the beach all the time. Father owns about a 400 foot stretch of white sand beach with our vacation villa and I would be out there all the time. In fact, if I wasn’t at the main house in Naples, I was at the vacation house, soaking up the sun.” Hyerin sighed wistfully at the thought of the warm rays of sun on her skin. She reached into her bag and pulled out her Galaxy Note 2. The phone simply seemed to big for her but Sam didn’t say anything.

Hyerin connected her phone’s Bluetooth to the car and hit the MP3 play. Lunafly’s “Yeowooya” began to play, filling the car with the cheerfully upbeat tune while still keeping it laidback.

“I wasn’t even aware that you listened to us,” Sam commented, taking the exit that led to the airport, slowing down when he had to pay the toll to get a spot.

“I’m married to Lunafly’s leader. I think it would be depressing if I didn’t listen to your group. However, I’ve actually been a Lukie for a while, and, believe it or not, you are my bias.” Hyerin looked over at Sam as she said this to gauge his reaction.

Sam was slightly taken aback with her bold statement and he couldn’t help but feel like a blush was beginning to form across his cheeks.

“Really? I would have thought that you biased Teo; you guys seemed to talk backstage fairly frequently whenever we were on the same show.” Sam rolled down the window and passed the tollbooth worker a 5 dollar bill, receiving a parking pass for the duration of their honeymoon.

“We actually didn’t speak that much. He was really polite to both Kyun and I so we didn’t really pay too much attention to him. Though if you want to know something, I think Kyun is out to have Yun for herself.” Hyerin laughed softly at the thought of the poor maknae being subjected to the dominant personality of her best friend.

“How ironic. Yun has got the biggest crush on Kyunhye. You would not believe how much he talks about her in the dorm,” Sam let out a breath of laughter as he pulled into the designated lot. They both stepped out and Sam opened the trunk, heaving both of their large rolling bags to settle on the cement ground. Hyerin’s bag was noticeably larger than Sam’s but that was only to be expected.

“So, are you ready for the ten hours ahead of us?” Sam questioned, leaning down to take the handle of Hyerin’s bag while she rolled his. Hyerin turned her smiling face to look at him and leaned down to entwine their fingers.

“Ready when you are, my husband.”

~*~*~*~ Ten Hours Later

“Honey! Look at the view of this place!” Hyerin was excitedly peering out of the plane window, looking down at the image of the crystalline waters and the cute thatched huts, one in which they’d be staying in for the next two weeks.

Large mountains ringed the archipelago, only adding to the natural beauty of the entire country. The plane in which they’d sat for the last few hours was slowly lowering to the ground, announcing the arrival at the airport.

With all the luggage supposedly shipped to their hut ahead of time, Hyerin eagerly grabbed Sam’s hand and led him off the nearly empty plane’ it wasn’t very often that Koreans traveled to Fiji, so they’d taken a slightly smaller plane with only a few handfuls of other passengers, all spaced sporadically among the plush interiors.

They stepped off the plane, greeted with warm, salty air and bright sunshine. Hyerin stretched her arms over her head and let out a squeal of excitement.

“It’s been ages since I’ve seen sun like this. Korea is sunny but it’s always humid over there. This is the kind of heat I’m used to,” She skipped ahead of Sam and spun around to face him, a grin stretched across her beautiful face. Her happiness was infectious and it wasn’t long until Sam joined his wife, smiling like a fool, jogging around in the delightful heat after being cooped up in the freezing plane.

“Let’s go visit our hut,” Hyerin grabbed his hand and led him down the wooden dock to a line of huts that were ringed around each other loosely. Each hut stood roughly 50 meters apart, which was plenty of privacy to its inhabitants.

Despite the exterior looking slightly small, the interior was  spacious in comparison. The walls were lined with gorgeous paintings of the sea during various times of the day and there was a short hallway that lead to the bedroom. There was only one bedroom, granted it was a hut and the master bathroom was a sight to see. Marble and honeyed wood seemed to cover every surface. There was a standing shower that had a great view of the ocean through a tempered window. The switch to fog it up was just outside the shower door, so it was easy to take a private shower. There was also a small balcony between the shower and corner, spa style tub. Outside on the balcony from the bathroom, seeing as there was two of them, there was an outdoor shower.

From the living area, which was furnished lightly with an extra long couch and a comfortable chaise lounge, the kitchen was to the right and also furnished in a fairly similar manner. The appliances were new and the fridge was stocked with food.

“This is a dream come true,” Hyerin breathed, stepping from the bathroom’s balcony to join Sam. He wrapped his arms around her, leaning his head down to rest his chin on her head. The position was comfortable and made Hyerin feel secure and protected.

“If only our vows were real,” Sam murmured in her ear, his husky accent sent shivers down her spine. Hyerin squeaked softly, immediately disentangling herself from him. He had a smile on his face but she could see the playfulness hidden within his smooth movements. She would need to watch out for him tonight; if he stole her clothes during her shower or was feeling frisky while on camera, there wouldn’t be a doubt in the world that they would immediately get banned from the show, let alone from seeing each other in general.

“Sam!” She hissed, she turned to see that the camera crew was still setting up and that the main camera was off filming the separate rooms of the house. Sam grinned at her, leaned down to press a chaste kiss to her cheek. His lips hovered over her ear, his sharp teeth coming out to nibble slightly on her lobe as he breathed a single sentence to her.

“Just wait until tonight, my little wife. You haven’t seen anything..yet.”

End!

Ohohoho, what does our leader have in store for his wife? ;) I’ll let you guys imagine it yourselves, since I don’t want to change the rating of this story.

Unless of course, you guys want me to make a separate outtakes story where it has nothing but s. That’s always an option. If you guys want to see how I write my s, you are free to look into the two I have posted on my account. (How coincidental, it’s Sam x Hyerin xP)

That’s why I made the plane seem ‘empty’ in case you guys said yes to the idea of the s. The first would be them joining the mile high club, if you know what I mean. ;D

Anyways, read and review, as always. Since I got four with my last chapter, should we aim for another four?

Like this story? Give it an Upvote!
Thank you!

Chapter 11: So glad you updated! I really enjoy this story - the only Lunafly story I'm reading. I love the Fiji location. You write very well. I have hopes they will take on their management companies and actually date. A trip to England to meet Sam's parents could be cool, too. Maybe WGM would include that in the show.

Chapter 11: Please update more.
I really your writing style. Its chic but very real.I want more intimate scenes with the couple. Obviously there's chemistry so I wonder if they're just gonna stay on this level or want to date each other. I would also like it if Sam played the guitar

Chapter 10: Awwww, Sam is being a gentlemen, that's how it should be! I like the chemistry a lot between to two because she's not simply following him like a puppy and he's not controlling what she does.

Chapter 9: What a fun chapter! And I love the pictures. What a beautiful place. The bit with the shoes was perfect! I like that Hyorin is so matter-of-fact with Sam, on the other hand I am hoping if they do have there's some romance and real feelings there because you've convinced me up to this point that they're there. Since she's said if they weren't celebrities she'd be jumping his frame, I want to hear what she thinks is possible since they are celebrities. Thanks so much for updating. Good luck with your classes. I'd offer to beta, but I'm barely finding time to write on my own fic.
