I stared at the person who I had not seen for five years and not really expected to ever see her again. Her long hair curled like back in school and they shone in the dark facets same as then.

I found my voice as the first one again and of course sat on my ice-cold mask. "Since when are you back in Seoul?"

She looked at me still surprised and remained in the open doorway. I bowed my head questioningly to the side.

"For a few months," she finally answered. "I was always interested in makeup. Well, I decided to make this my profession."

I decided to respond scathing. "I hadn't asked for your professional career. What a sentimental banter." Afterwards I made a clicking noise with my tongue.

"Your tongue has become a cutting knife, Nina. Are you still hiding your real feelings?"

"Unlike you, I'm not the one of us who is betraying her friends."

"Have you still not overcome that? Well, at least I have friends unlike you."

I pulled haughty my eyebrow? Why does she know? It was true, because of her and Baekhyuns betrayal I hadn't allowed me no friendly relations outside the family. They would only betray me again. When I became famous there were many who wanted to be my friends and some cavaliers, but I didn't trust any of them, they had only envy and greed in their eyes. Nevertheless, I was curious how she knew. "Are you spying on me?"

She let out a short laugh. "You can't possible overhear the media. Nina Jong the British- Korean singer apparently seems to not want to make any friends. She avoids all contact with other celebrities. Although she was invited to some events, she ignored it haughty. Have you become so arrogant Nina?"

"No arrogance, just self-confidence, something that you seem to have forgotten."

A bitter smile was on her lips but her answer was prevented by Baekhyun who suddenly came past the door and stood rooted to the spot.

"Jian ?"

My former best friend turned to my crush and looked at him with surprised expression on her face. In my head repeatedly played that one scene as the two kissed in the past.

"Baekhyun ........... - sshi."

I almost stood up and would have strangled her with bare hands. To adress Bacon without a formal way, even if he was merely Bacon, would have been far too personal and intimate. My little jealousy devil calmed down and I relaxed my shoulders.

When I noticed what I thought and how I had responded I frowned. Why was I jealous? Baekhyun did not interest me in the slightest way!

"It looks like I 'm your new make-up artist. They sent me here  and instructed me to assist a singer who has just arrived from abroad. That's probably you, Nina."

My eyes were almost twice as large at her words and my mouth opened almost by itself. For a few seconds I said nothing and only looked at her. My ex-best friend would stick by my side throughout my whole stay in Korea?
