By the time Taemin and Minho arrived home, it was almost time for dinner and Taemin insisted that he wanted to cook dinner instead of going out to eat. They ended up going to a grocery store since Taemin said he wants to make something different tonight. They were almost done when Taemin went to line up while Minho went to get the last items. From afar, Taemin saw Minho holding the cucumber and tomatoes and smiled, it was a cute sight for some reason. Then suddenly, a girl went up to Minho and started talking to him.

                “Hey handsome, here alone? How about you and I go home and have so fun, I’ll let you shove your ‘cucumber’ in me as many times as you want” Minho tried to politely reject her but she kept on clinging onto him and for some reason Taemin felt very angry. He kindly told the cashier to hold onto his items as he stormed towards Minho’s direction.

                “Excuse me, do you mind?” Please stop clinging to my boyfriend and leave” Taemin pulled Minho towards his side and glared at the girl.

                “What proof do you have that he’s your boyfriend? He’s too hot to be gay” the girl smirked when she saw Taemin’s cheeks reddening; it wasn’t from embarrassment but from anger.

                “Here’s proof” and with that, he wrapped Minho’s neck and pulled him down for a kiss, right on the lips. The girl gasped as her eyes widened when she saw Minho responding to the kiss, people were starting to stare so she quickly made her escape. Minho and Taemin were so deep into the kiss that they forgot where they were until one of the employees came over and shyly asked if Minho were planning to buy the vegetables. Taemin opened his eyes and quickly came back to his senses and ran back to the cashier to pay for the groceries. His face was red as the tomatoes Minho were holding and people couldn’t help but chuckle at the couple’s cuteness. Minho appeared behind Taemin and placed the vegetables on the conveyer belt.

                “You didn’t have to do that Minnie; I would’ve found another way to get rid of her” Taemin’s back was facing Minho so he wasn’t able to see his face.

                “I didn’t like how she was holding you. It made me angry, I keep on thinking that hyung belongs to me, that you’re mine” Taemin whispered the last part. They quickly grabbed their bags and went to the car. Taemin went to sit in the passenger seat while he waited for Minho to close the trunk and start the car. For some reason, it felt right for Taemin to call Minho his boyfriend, it was as if they actually had that relationship but he wasn’t able to remember it. When they arrived home, Taemin went straight to cooking; he decided to make a salad, steak for the main course and some fruit parfait for dessert. Taemin wore an adorable kitty apron that Minho’s umma had gotten and got ready to start cooking.

                “Minnie, do you need help with anything?” Minho asked as he leaned on the counter and watched as the steak was set on the pan and started sizzling.

                “Then help me set the table, the steak wouldn’t take too long. Is medium rare okay with you?” Minho stared, he had never expected Taemin to be so good at cooking, and he nodded and got the settings ready. By the time the plates were placed on the table, the salad was already done. They sat down and started eating the salad while waiting for the steak to be done.

                “Minnie, you still don’t remember anything that had happened in the past right? I mean, none of your memories came back?” Minho saw Taemin shaking his head and couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

                “B-but that’s why we have to create new ones, r-right? I have a feeling that you were someone important to me before so I want to find my memories as soon as possible. I guess we can just create new memories now, we can start over. I-if you want that is” Taemin blushed and continued to eat his salad, avoiding all eye contacts with Minho. Minho was about to say something until he heard a timer beeping.

                “Oh no, the steaks” Taemin jumped up and ran towards the stove, he was careless and grab the lid without realizing that it could be hotter than he thought. Taemin squealed in pain and dropped the lid on the floor, causing Minho to quickly turn around and ran over. Minho turned off the stove and the tap to ice cold.

                “Quickly run it under cold water” Minho grabbed Taemin’s hand gently and placed it under the ice cold water, he heard Taemin whimpering and was hoping the pain would subside very soon.

                “Hyung, it doesn’t hurt anymore” Taemin’s hand was actually starting to feel better since he only touched the hot lid just for a second. He wanted to pull his hand away from Minho’s but it appears the grip was stronger than he thought.

                “I’m sorry Minnie; if I had been more careful then you wouldn’t have hurt yourself again. It’s always my fault that you get hurt. I caused you to go blind, get hit by a car, and now even injuring you because you were cooking dinner for me” Minho held Taemin’s hand and gently pulled it towards his lips. Taemin’s face went bright red and all he could notice was how warm and soft Minho’s lips were.

                “It’s okay hyung, it’s all in the past. Besides, I’m still here aren’t I? Well, not all of me since my memories are gone, but as long as you’re beside me, I’ll be fine” Taemin’s used his free hand and touched Minho’s face. He had never seen Minho so vulnerable before. Minho grabbed both of Taemin`s hands into his and pulled him close. He slowly bent down and placed their lips together, he could feel Taemin freeze for a second before allowing him to take control. In just a few seconds they were lost in their own world, their dinner forgotten.
