Finally back here in Korea

I step out of the airport with my bag hanging on my shoulder and my phone on my ear, I’m calling her but she’s not answering her phone…maybe she’s busy

I missed this country and also this girl that I’m still trying to call

Why isn’t she picking up her phone?

Is it because… she’s still mad at me?

*sigh*

Why didn’t I say my good-bye to her before?

Why didn’t I make time for us to see each other before I left?

After five times of trying to reach her…I give up

I put my phone inside my pocket and hailed for a taxi

“Where to miss?” the taxi driver asked me

I want to visit her first but I forgot where she works

“Please bring me to this place”

I took the crumpled paper inside my pocket and gave it to the driver, the hotel where I’m staying is written there

He read what is written on the paper and then he started to drive

I grabbed my phone inside my pocket to call my mom and tell her that I’m back here now in Korea

I pressed the phone to my ear as I wait for my mom to answer my call

“hello, omma…I just arrived, I had a safe flight…no need omma I already rode a taxi to go to the hotel, yes omma I’ll see and talk to her later..Yes bye see you tomorrow…”

I hung up and stare at the window, I can see the skies are dark…looks like it’s going to rain later

“Here we are miss” the driver said, I paid my fare and went out of the taxi

I walk to the hotel lobby and approached the reception “good day miss how may I help you?” the receptionist greeted me along with a welcoming smile.

“Hi, I’m Kwon Yuri and I reserved a room here 2 days ago”

“Please wait as I checked your reservation” she said and checked her computer for my reservation then she looks back at me again

“our system says that you reserved a deluxe room” she took a card beside her desk “miss Kwon, here’s your key card and your room is located on the 10th floor, do you need help with your luggage?” she gave me the key card that looks more of a credit card, its color is gold and the room number is embossed on it

“No need and thank you” I smiled at her, I took my key card and left the reception

The elevator arrived just in time; I step inside and push the 10th floor button

The elevator reached the 10th floor; I stepped out and started to look for my room,

I walked straight as I read the numbers of every room I passed by

“1562, 1563…here it is 1564” I inserted my key card and the door opened

As soon as I enter my hotel room, I toss my bag on the couch

I again walk to the door and went out of my room, I have to go and see her now

I also now remember where she works, she’s working on their company and we used to go there before…

I know Mr. Jung’s company is in the same vicinity of this hotel

I went out of the hotel and begin my walk, I think in 20 minutes I’ll reach the place where she works

I walked faster this time because I can feel that it’s going to rain soon, I reached the coffee shop that is in front of the Jung’s company

The Jung’s company [a/n: I can’t think of a name for their company] is located on the other side of the street.

I was about to cross when I saw Jessica, she looks like she’s stomping out of the building.

I can’t see her expression clearly since I’m a little too far from her

But I bet she’s upset

She turns her back and starts to walk again.

Someone is approaching her and looks like Jessica is not paying attention to where she is going, that girl must be day dreaming again.

I was about to call for her but she already fell on the ground along with the girl she bumped

Jessica fixed her coat and helped the girl to stand, I really want to see Jessica’s expression right now…

I think Jessica suddenly froze on her spot when the girl smiled at her

I smiled at the scene, because I think it’s cute.

I felt a drop of water on my face; I looked up at the clouds and felt another dropped of water on my face

It’s beginning to rain now, I looked back to where Jessica and the girl is standing

Jessica already started to walk and the girl also walks but she stops and looks again at Jessica

Hmmm, I wonder why

Then this time she runs and went to the right side of the street.

I’m about to follow Jessica but when I glance on my right I saw someone with a camera, following and taking photos of every move Jessica made.

She looks like paparazzi

Is Jessica famous now?

Why is she taking photos of Jessica?

Out of curiosity I started to approach the said girl

“Hey” I said, she was a little startled when she heard me

She takes the camera away that is covering her face, and looks at me

“Sunny?”

“Yuri?”

But before we start talking we had to go inside the coffee shop, so we won’t get ourselves wet from the rain.

I followed sunny inside

“Sooyoung!” she called someone on the other end of the coffee shop

My face brighten when I heard sunny called Sooyoung, I missed her also, we used to play tricks on Jessica before

“Yuri, let’s go and sit there” sunny pointed to the place where Sooyoung is seated and I nodded, I’m still curious on why she is taking photos of Jessica earlier

Probably sunny and Sooyoung is up to something again.

“Yuri!” Sooyoung waved her hand when she saw me

“When did you arrived?” she asked as me and sunny sits on the chair in front of her

“I just arrived; I missed you guys so much that I convinced my father to let me go back here in Korea”

Sunny hands the camera to Sooyoung and she looks at me

“Yah! Yuri, do you know how mad Jessica is when you left without telling her”

“I think I don’t want to know that” I answered her as I lower my head, I didn’t even said good-bye to sunny and Sooyoung when I left

“Don’t worry yul, I think Jessica is not mad at you anymore” Sooyoung said as she scans the photo sunny captured earlier

I looked at Sooyoung with a slight glint of hope in my eyes”really?” Sooyoung smirks “no”

Still the same Sooyoung — guess I just need to talk to Jessica to know if she’s still mad at me

“you took a lot of nice shots sunny” Sooyoung complimented sunny with a wide grin, she’s still looking at the photos

“Of course, tomorrow we will show this to Mr. Jung and also tomorrow we shall start with our plan” sunny said; now my curiosity grows big.

What are they planning?

Whatever it is I also want to join them

I cleared my throat and looked at sunny “may I know what you guys are planning?”

Sunny looks at me with her eyes sparkling with something I still can’t tell

“You’re just in time to join us Yuri, I think we will need your help for this plan” she said

“Tell it to me now sunny” I’m getting a little excited with this

“Mr. Jung wants us to annoy Jessica, I mean annoying Jessica is part of the plan” sunny said as she grinned at me

I raised an eyebrow; I can’t understand what she’s trying to say…why would Mr. Jung allow someone to annoy his daughter?

“Huh?”

“Aigoo Yuri, you’ve been really away for a long time… Jessica has been acting all grumpy lately…I mean she’s always been like that before, but Jessica rarely smiles Mr. Jung is starting to worry for his daughter”

That’s the problem?

Jessica rarely smiles?

Isn’t that a bit shallow?

“Why can’t Mr. Jung just hired a clown or someone to make his daughter smile” I said trying to sound like it was a joke but sunny and Sooyoung didn’t buy it and they got serious all of a sudden

“Kwon Yuri, you still don’t get it?” Sooyoung asked, I looked down and shook my head

“Let me simplify it for you Yuri, Mr. Jung wants us to find someone…a person who can change his daughter” Sooyoung said as she places the camera on the table “and finally we got someone who can do that” sunny said

Now I got it

“Is the girl Jessica bumped earlier the one you guys are talking about?”

“Yes” both answered in unison

“and that girl is going to work with us tomorrow…that is not part of the plan, but I think its destiny, they are destined to meet each other and now I’m starting to sound cheesy” Sooyoung said as she chuckled

Sunny grabs the camera and puts it inside her bag “tomorrow we will show this photos to Mr. Jung and tell him that we already found someone for his daughter”

“This is going to be fun” Sooyoung said

I look at them with a smile plastered on my face “so what do you guys want me to do?”
